to a nsw yr quest above: IT IS THE SUN, the source. the planets only reflect

the central light in diff ways, just as copper, tin, silver, lead etc would

reflect diff versions of same light.

to continue a further analogy, the 12 signs modify the diff refl versions of

cenral light as 12 diff colored filters wld. so Jupiter - sun refl by tin

seen thru yellow filter=Gemini but thru amethysty filter=Jup in Pisces.

if u read my 1st bk JUNGIAN SYMBOLISM IN ASTROLOGY - just back in print - u

will see that i do not believe that planets influence as A on B but rather

that the outer n inner are both resp to X as A n A'. they are resonating

together.

each of us is sort of encapsulated as a fish would be in a bubble of water

w/in an ocean. when something affects the ocean it also affects the water

w/in each bubble. however, the fish IN the bubble thinks it is separate n it

is by being a unique fish!- ha! astrology works synchronically not thru cause

n effect. it's the only way u can justify it n not see it as predestiny.

i cannot predict if u will meet a pretty woman on friday, but i CAN tell if u

have a thing for pretty women, or machinery, or books or politics etc. ha!

in other words, a chart tells how a person is LIKELY to process experience

but the more conscious u become, the greater opportunity to become more aware

n do a little alchemical fine tuning.

ex: someone w/saturn in 7th house, likely to live defensively ergo will psych

out all newcomers expect to be put down. negative posture, unconsc.

turned around, the putting down of oneself bef someone else does can become

conscious n sacrificed! but the gift of psyching out n discriminating

remains, ergo person can bec sensitive n helpful to others in need. Same

placing but transformed.

Sun = who?

planets=what about the who?

signs=how do the above?

aspects= to what degree/facility do the above

houses=where will all these manifest?

that's a pocket edition of all u need to know. the catch? no 2 chts are

alike!!

so u really have to LIVE n recognize the processes n they are all around us n

then just like cooking u can intuit what will happ in the psyche when u

combine certain ingredients. et voila!

Snuffy MacDuff, my cairn, has to go poopy walk n so perforce must i. i can't

hold his leash anymore so go out w/my middle daughter who lives next door n

is an angel these days n turned me hair white in her teens! talk of

transformation! parents of the world NEVER GIVE UP! n now i can watch her

w/HER teen-ager. tee-hee!
