Guest guest
I've got a Mac too but receive no 'data stream' at the end of messages, except for advertising rubbish. However the sender's email address is always at the top (prefixed From:) so I too wonder why Graham wants us to repeat it. That's correct but not all e-mail programs can interpret it, especially older ones, and would read the sender as being the list without including the individual's personal e-mail address (does that make sense?). No need for retyping - virtually all e-mail software allows you to create signatures which can be added to your message with a single click - example below :-) Cheers Graham White B.Sc. (Herb. Guest guest
I don't always get the email address appearing at the top of my messages automatically. Some times the email address appears and sometimes the name of the sender. It is not always obvious from the senders email address who they are - especially if they only sign off with their Christian name. I find it helpful when people add both full name and email address to their signature. As this can be done automatically with most software - why not?
