cracking grain

I don't remember who was asking about cracking oats:

My grinder doesn't crack grain but it is easy to do in

small quantities in my spice mill or blender. Be

warned though, if you use a spice mill or if your

blender jar is plastic, it will scratch it up a bit!

Carma,

One thing about Pampered Chef you might consider is

that they have a three year warranty on their

stoneware. If it breaks in that three year period

(including if you drop it on the floor!)you send them

a piece of the stoneware and the receipt, and they

send you a replacement. So for the more clumsy of us,

pampered chefe might be a good buy. ;o) I don't work

for them BTW, just went to a party recently! ;o)

(I have heard they aren't picky about the receipt but

you do have to contact your sales rep- however, people

I know just keep the original reciept under their

silverware holder in a kitchen drawer.)

Love in Christ,

Alison
