Guest guest
I had a test which showed that my immune system regards it as a serious threat and makes antibodies to it which may explain why I got soooo sick after taking primal defence for over a year on and off. It has the supposedly beneficial yeast Sachnormyces but if you react to it, it is not beneficial! purpleveg wrote: what type of reaction do you get from yeast? Guest guest
I have very bad reactions to yeast too, mainly gas. If anything says autolyzed yeast extract, I turn and run! > > > Ilanit > > -------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- > > Little Tree Pty Limited, Melbourne, Australia (Little Tree). ® > registered trademark, © copyright 2003. Guest guest
I am not a fan of primal defence anymore. I was impressed by the literature initially but have read some issues about the yeast as well as the bacillus in it OMX is the best probiotic I have come across check it out at cybermacro.com it takes 3-5 years to naturally ferment every capsule and the ingredients are wild japanese mountain veg and seaveg! purpleveg wrote: I told you that dude from Whole Foods said that there is a strain in it that's known to down cows right? nice stuff and so expensive!!! > > Ilanit Tof - Signature Ilanit Ms Ilanit Tof B.A. (Psychophysiology/Psychology) Advanced Diploma Healing with Wholefoods PhD Holistic Nutrition (candidate) Little Tree Oriental Healing Arts Helping you grow to new heights of wellbeing with Oriental Traditions and Modern Nutrition ilanit@... www.littletree.com.au
Guest guest
Hi Ilanit, I know you've said these things on this list before, so it's very interesting to think about that for myself. I used to take these instant soups to work with me when I lived in Oregon (black bean, split pea, etc) and they had that stuff in them. That was about 10 years ago now, but not knowing anything else about what was going on with my health, I knew for sure that the yeast was " bad " for me (at that time I was going through a candida issue)! Then I found out about my allergies a couple years later. All this stuff is connected. Even though my health is better, allergies and candida dramatically reversed, that yeast still messes with me. I will check out the book.
