Hi Inger,

Thanks!

Yeah, hubby is the only one not on the spectrum

(though if there was such a thing as an extremely social Aspie – who also

needs lots of down time - I’d think he was one of us! He understands most of the social stuff

instinctively, though. When I think

about it, the picture I get is him sitting on a fence dividing AS and NT, with

one foot on the ground on our side)

The vibe from your photo feels as nice as you seem from your

mails. Very pleasant to be around. (Sort of like a cat.)

Can you guess who the social one is

in our family?

Are the facial expressions supposed to give a clue...?

Is it possible he might another type of neuro-atypical, e.g. a little ADHD? We often complement each other really well. Looking back i see that most (all?) of my previous partners have been either Aspie- or ADHD- types. (Don't seem to get attracted to NT men for some reason.)

OH YES, he is definitely 100% ADHD!!!! I should have mentioned that. And I do believe ADHD is on the

spectrum... between AS and NT... but most people don’t

see it that way and I don’t usually mention it trying to avoid the heated

discussions I’ve been involved with on this subject in the past (particularly

with dx ADHD parents of ASD kids!

Yikes! “Hit the deck,

incoming!”).
