Guest guest
Do any of you ever participate in health fairs and baby expos?I did so for the first time last year. It was held in conjunction with a cloth diaper changing event (how many at the same time). It cost me about $20 including the opportunity to offer a one hour presentation, and was attended by about 150 people. Although I had an attractive display, and spoke to all of the other exhibitors and to many parents throughout the day, I had ZERO follow-ups in terms of appointments for consultations. This year the same people have booked a much larger facility, and their exhibitor fee has gone up to $175. Based on last year's experience, I am leery of attending. What has your experience been of such events? normaNorma Ritter, IBCLC, RLCBreastfeeding Matters in the Capital Regionwww.NormaRitter.comJoin us on Facebook for the latest birthing and breastfeeding news and views: http://tinyurl.com/BMCRonFB
