2 Year Old with 104.5 temp....Not Sure What to Treat

My baby finished a round of Omnicef(urggggggg) on Saturday and still

acted like he wasn't feeling well. I have tried all of the naural

remedies people have recommended and they haven't worked for us. I

took him back to the doctor to make sure his ears were clear and

everything was fine.

He started back on Valtrex this weekend after a few weeks off of it.

I wanted to see how he would do without. He had been on it since

July, but he never had any fever or other problems with it before.

Previous tests show extremely high yeast and Clostridia. He has been

taking Nizoral for months and was taking it along with the Omnicef.

Last night he smeared poop for the first time, which is very unlike

him because he hates having a dirty diaper and is very grossed out

by feces. (My 3 year old was one of the horrible ones about

smearing poop daily for 2 months).

This morning he woke up with a temp of 104.5 and I gave him Motrin

not knowing what else to do. His fever is going back up now.

This was his first and last round of Omnicef. Could it have stirred

up the Clostridia somehow? He has still been getting his Nizoral, S.

Boularddi and ProBio Gold every day.

I have his Flagyl, but I haven't started it yet. I know I can't give

it with the Nizoral, so I have to take my pick.

I called his doctor at Thoughtful House, but couldn't get a phone

consult until tomorrow. His assistant talked to him and he said I

could try the Flagyl if I wanted, but he would talk to me tomorrow

about other possibilities.

Maybe it all screwed up the wonderful balance they have of yeast,

bacteria and heavy metals.

Can anyone offer me any suggestions?

Thanks so much to all of you, I have no idea what I would without

the support and guidance for give.
