Guest guest
This is great information, thanks for sharing. I have a few questions. I am on the low-budget version of the NT diet. Could I possibly get away with doing this diet without the Raw butter? I really can't afford it but I do use coconut butter. Also where would I obtain this concen-trace? I have never heard of this before. Thank you again for the info Kareemah
Guest guest
How long did she keep this treatment up for? Indefinitely? Also I mentioned before that I don't get the raw butter, but I do drink raw milk and eat raw cheese and yougurt. This is helpful, yes? I often feel as though the mercury from my numerous fillings, is dragging me down, making me sick and zapping my energy. a do you feel this way at all. I can't afford to replace them. And my teeth have so much mercury in them they would probably break off if I tried to replace them anyway. What can I do? Thanks again for the help and advice, Kareemah

Guest guest
I also have mercury fillings. It is hard. I am also on a low budget NT diet. The main reason I get raw milk and lots of butter and cheese all organic is because my parents live down the road and they dairy farm organically. My husband works and I stay at home with the kids. After my parents learned about the silver fillings they found dentists who would put in the plastic fillings. I have about half and half. I actually also still have some temporary fillings that are almost three years old now. I wonder what the dentist who put them in would say!! He said I would need to get them replaced within a year! He is a little alternative and the temp fillings are supposed to stop the decay from going any further and then when the temp fillings do their job he puts in regular plastic fillings. He also drilled my teeth without any novicane (sp?) That was a first!!! It took me a while to relax. He does not drill more than necessary. I moved about two months after finding him, but my parents have found someone an hour away that is supposedly good. find a good dentist! I know that we can probably stop the decay from spreading, but I do not know if we can make our teeth any better. they have been drilled at and mine have had many peices fallen out. I have heard of teeth growing back, one of those unexplained science things. I have also heard of people growing new parts to them that have been removed (like a women growing a new uterus) This is just hearsay! I would think for this to happen a person would have to be eating almost perfectly. Sally had said once that those people who Dr Price visited who went to the city for a time had tooth decay, but after they returned to their homeland nad original diet the tooth decay stopped. a Augustine I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.I wish you enough ''Hello's" to get you through the final goodbye.--anonymous ----- Original Message ----- From: umbasheer@... Guest guest
The following company has a tooth restore kit similar to the supplements a was mentioning (including the ConcenTrace)--if anyone is interested in receiving the catalog with a $2 off coupon, you can send me your name and address and I can send it to the company. (I won't use anyone's address for anything else. I would get some credit if you place an order.) Of course, you can contact them yourself, too, especially if you don't want to wait to get a catalog--don't feel like you have to go through me! http://www.lovetolearn.net/ (This is basically a homeschool supply company, but they have health items as well, including Weston Price's book) If you want to read the brief description of the tooth restore kit, enter that in a search. I think the print catalog describes it more, though. I ordered both the liquid and tablet kits a couple of weeks ago, but haven't received them yet. I actually have a bottle of ConcenTrace already which my mother had given to me some time ago. a, you mentioned it being STRONG tasting--I totally agree! Before reading the description of the tooth restore kit in the Love to Learn catalog , I had only occasionally used the ConcenTrace in cooking--just a few drops. Well, I decided to go ahead and start really trying to get it into my family, and I decided I myself would try it just plain in a spoon! YiYiYi!!! Probably the most horrible thing I have ever tasted! I gave my family some in juice, but I decided the best way to get it into everyone is to add it to food. I try to add it to things after cooking, although I don't think it would hurt it to be cooked, since it is minerals (one of these days I would like to contact the company and ask them about this). It blends in with food nicely. I measure it into a spoon, so I can get an idea of how much I can put into a recipe and not have the taste evident. It seems like I can put a decent amount in. I did a search on the web to find out more info on ConcenTrace, so if anyone is interested, you could find out more about it that way. My husband had a cavity remineralize between his last two dentist appointments. He is not into healthy eating, but I manage to get some good things into him, although he is getting plenty of bad things (like Coke, etc.!). Anyway, he was using raw milk for a couple of months between those two appointments, and I wonder if that along with some of the other things that I was doing with food may have helped him there. Also, my sister at different times in her life has had at least two teeth remineralize that had small cavities. I know I have read that cavities can remineralize as long as they are only in the enamel. I kind of wonder if it might be possible too if they are deeper, though. Does anyone know? My kids all have bad teeth, with my 3rd child (9yos) being the worst. I figure that although I try not to give them refined sugar, etc., they do get some other places, and until reading NT a year and a half ago, they were getting a lot of whole grains that were usually unsoaked, so they weren't getting the minerals that they should have been from the food they were eating. Also, my son never liked milk or butter. I figured that was fine, since the milk was homogenized and pasteurized and I knew that both of those things were bad anyway. I had heard that you didn't really get that much calcium from milk anyway due to the amount of phosphorus in it, so I didn't really worry about his calcium intake. I didn't even think about the fact that he also didn't like greens, so he wasn't getting the best plant sources of calcium either. He also got onto carob soy milk at some point and really liked that. Later when I found out *how* bad his teeth were (I already knew he had some cavities), I looked at the soy milk that we were using and found it didn't have near as much calcium as milk does per serving. Then when I read NT, I thought about how the soymilk was probably also robbing him of the ability to absorb what minerals he might have been consuming. I took him off of soymilk back when I realized the small amount of calcium in it, and I have since managed to get him to drink goat's milk with carob powder mixed in it. Also, I am putting butter on cooked vegetables now--I used to always serve them plain. And I am using butter in baking more, so hopefully my son's dental health will at least improve somewhat. There is more I would like to write about concerning bacteria and decay, but this is plenty long enough already and I have been working on it off and on all day, so I think I will get it sent and try to post more about this later! Guest guest
White oak bark is supposed to be excellent for several things, including teeth. It is tasteless, so I sprinkle it on my kids' eggs several times a week. I know one man who was taking it for another reason, sprinkling it on food, and actually lost a filling because the enamel began to regrow on his teeth and the filling popped out because the old drilled area was filling in! An aunt of mine whose teeth were all loosening began to take it and her teeth tightened back up. Carma Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing worth knowing can be taught. - Wilde - carmapaden@... Guest guest
Where do you get white oak bark that you can sprinkle on food?? I bought white oak bark for Vericose veins, I have never eaten it, but only soaked my leg in tea. I purchased this bulk from fronteer and it came in big chunks of bark. I suppose I could grind this! a Augustine I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.I wish you enough ''Hello's" to get you through the final goodbye.--anonymous ----- Original Message ----- From: Carma Paden Sent: Saturday, September 01, 2001 5:49 PM Subject: RE: Re: Teeth White oak bark is supposed to be excellent for several things, including teeth. I buy mine already ground into powder from a little shop here in Phoenix that sells bulk herbs, called The Herb Stop. They are online too http://herbstop.com/ Carma Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing worth knowing can be taught. - Wilde - carmapaden@...
