Guest guest
I don't know where you live, but our grocery stores carry nut flowur in the health food section altho I have stopped using it because they are so high in oxalates. I replaced milk with home made vegetable juice-or water.kavita_d_mallik wrote: For those doing the SCD where can one find a good source of nut flour. Guest guest
The other flours (amaranth, quinoa, millet, etc) are not SCD legal. -------------- Original message ---------------------- > I don't know where you live, but our grocery stores carry nut flowur in the > health food section altho I have stopped using it because they are so high in > oxalates. Guest guest
It doesn't take long for someone who drinks a lot of milk, even a kid who loves it, to stop drinking it. For us it took only a couple of weeks. That's because milk is not our friend and doing without it feels a lot better. kavita_d_mallik wrote: For those doing the SCD where can one find a good source of nut flour. Guest guest
Before age 2, my child was a milk addict. He would drink as much as I would allow. When we went GFCF, we went cold turkey. No milk period. His stools immediately improved, the constant spinning and nightwakings ceased and he began looking at us again. If you are going SCD, I don't believe there is an appropriate milk substitute. My child now will drink only water. He even refuses diluted juice! We supplement w/calcium and he is happy & healthy.
