My doctor, up here at Albany (NY) Medical Center, took me seriously when I complained about facial atrophy that has begun to show, as well as definite issues with thigh wasting and the start of a small lipo belly-i've had no buffalo issues. The cocktail which I had been on since my treatment began in 1999--Viracept, Zerit, Epivir--has thus been changed to Sustiva and Viread and Combivir. We talked over the various med options vis-a-vis the lipo issues and these changes seemed to make the most sense. I'll let y'all know a few months down the road how its going.
