Guest guest
I find my son (42 lbs) needs WAY less than the doseage on the bottle. It comes in capsule and liquid. We use the liquid. I think the instructions say up to 15 drops, 2x/day. We do 5 drops/1x/day (in the a.m.) and probiotics in the afternoon. It really seems to be keeping his yeast at bay longterm. This is the 1st time anything has done this for him. FYI: It tastes terrible - very bitter. You will probably need to mask it w/juice, honey or something. I'm hesitant because of the intensity of his yeast and bacteria flare-up. Now that the yeast and bacteria appear to be under control, it is clear that he retained the gains that he made on the Valtrex. I'm undecided if we are going to go back on or not. > > The goldenseal has berberine in it. It helped fight his yeast and bacteria. For him, it was better than Diflucan or Nizoral. We are also really concentrating on getting a high count of probiotics in him because his latest lab showed an absence of any good bacteria. > > DR
