Guest guest
Great post but I wonder how you ever got any useful information off of Dr. Lin's site. I visited it and it is extremely difficult to read and figure out. What supplement of his are you taking? I tried to navigate through the site and got frustrated and left. > > I think I'm recovering! Guest guest
I emailed him too and he said this to me: The SSRIs drug has destroyed the dopamine nervous action on your hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis and outgrown your serotonin neurons. The dopamine agonist won't increase dopamine release in the nervous terminals; instead, it just activates dopamine receptors in the absence of dopamine. That is, the drug only mimics the dopamine action while orgasm requires the hypothalamic and adrenal dopamine-norepinephrine conversion to turn on the sympathetic nervous Fight responses and the alternative release of oxytocin and prolactin from the pituitary gland to facilitate and initiate the orgasmic contraction. This means you don't have the neurotransmitters to power your hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis at all. You will need ViaPal-hGH-J(3-015) and ArgiNOx (1-018), plus FishOil(1000 mg each meal) and Vitamin D3 200 IU, to help you gradually rejuvenate your neuro-endocrine function, restore your dopamine-hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis , and boost your prostaglandin E-1/E-3 and Nitric Oxide production for healing. http://www.actionlove.com/mail/herbform.htm I wonder why he suggested different things > > I think I'm recovering! Guest guest
Yes, I agree!! His site is very hard to navigate, but there is so much info there that it's worth it to hang in there and try and get used to it!! I am on ViaGrowth-IV, ArgiNOx, and MoodMax: http://www.linplaza.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD & Store_Code=Lin-Institute & Pr\ oduct_Code=3-017 & Category_Code= Pinealtonin: http://www.linplaza.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD & Store_Code=Lin-Institute & Pr\ oduct_Code=3-017 & Category_Code= Hopefully those links work. If you write to him and tell him your situation, he may recommend something totally different. I tried to write to him before through herballove.com where I first learned about him, but never got a response. There were so many products offered on there, and I didn't know which to try, so I was glad to discover his own site, and I got an immediate response. He answered all my questions I asked too. I really hope I continue to improve. I mean perhaps I shouldn't have said " major " improvements, because I'm not talking like extremely pleasurable orgasms - but compared to how it's been, I'll take it! I really hope that things will continue to improve for me on his supplements. > > > > I think I'm recovering! Thank God! Guest guest
Yes, I read a lot of his case studies and how he recommended different things for different people even if there situation sounded similar. In reading further, I noticed that there are specific indications such as " only for women over 30 " or " not for individuals with the herpes virus. " So I'm hoping that he really knows what he's talking about! It sure sounds like he does. Are your symptoms similar to mine? Here's what I initially wrote to him - kind of embarrassing to share, but I will anyway! I am a 43 year old married woman who only recently realized that the sexual dysfunction that I have experienced since 1985 is not in my head as doctors have always told me and I foolishly believed. I had normal sexual feeling prior to age 17, then was put on birth control(just to regulate my periods). Since then I could always orgasm through intense clitoris stimulation, but have had no physical arousal, no breast sensation, no G-spot, no anal sensation. Occasionally I would have dreams of intense desire and intense orgasms but never in real life. Going on antidepressants caused even more dysfunction. In recent years my dysfunction has gone from bad to worse. Now my orgasms are no longer pleasurable. For the past 3 1/2 years my husband and I have been trying to figure me out - which has probably bordered on over-masturbation since that is the only way I can orgasm. I no longer have sexual dreams, just occasional dreams of sexual frustration. I have never felt " turned on " except in the moments just before orgasm. I have frequent urination/urinary incontence which happened right after starting to take the antidepressant Cymbalta in 2006. It seemed to cause a numbness of my pc muscle. Was then switched to Lexapro which made me completely numb, and I have remained numb even though I went off of the drug and stayed off antidepressants for almost 3 years. I even experienced natural childbirth without pain - the baby just popped out. Completely different from my other natural delivery where I screamed in agony. My guess is that your symptoms are different enough from mine that is why he told you something different. Since this happened to me, my theory was that I needed orgasms almost daily, with the fear that things would get worse - because initially that was my experience - infrequent sex/orgasms was a guarantee to get a " zero " wherease with every day, I would every once in a while get a 2 or a 3. In more recent months, I was getting very consistent zeros - absolutely no sexual pleasure. And I asked Dr. Lin if I should limit orgasms. He said yes, that by having them 1-2 times a week, the recovery time should increase, and I'd be able to have sex more frequently without having zeros. I came up with this theory (limiting orgasms might help with recovery) after someone else on here wrote about recovering after giving up sex for a long time to just cuddle with his partner. And then in my own experience just recently my hubby and I hadn't had sex for a week (which was very rare for us), and then when we finally did, I orgasmed easily and it felt good. In fact, I guess I wrote about it on here - I believe it was May 9th. And that was with some advise from Dr. Lin on herballove.com which recommended not washing away semen because of it's benefit of triggering orgasm in females. Anyway, again I say it's very embarrassing to share all this, but I am tired of suffering of all this, and want to share what I have experienced in the hopes that it might help someone else. Please let me know if you order anything, and if you have any success with it! > > > > I think I'm recovering! Thank God! Guest guest
" Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. He studied engineering. Many in this group tried his over-priced snake oil herbal products in the past and did not recover. I wasted over $200 on his herbal products and saw no improvement or benefit whatsoever. Guest guest
Oh yikes. When I looked at the ingredients it seemed to have very common herbs in there. I was unsure why these supplements would totally fix my " hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis. " He told me that dopamine agonists won't help me (because I am on requip) because: " The dopamine agonist won't increase dopamine release in the nervous terminals; instead, it just activates dopamine receptors in the absence of dopamine. Guest guest
I saw where he is not a " real " doctor, and I was skeptical too because when I first joined the group I was reading some of the older posts and saw where someone was planning on trying " Dr. Lin's cream " (which I had already tried and had some success with). I didn't follow through with reading more of the older posts, but I had a feeling if anyone had tried Dr. Lin, they were disappointed and he was dismissed as a " quack. " I decided to try the products when I saw that they had in them that others were having success with, as well as things that I am already taking that I've seen improvements with. I have wasted lots of money on stuff myself during the last 3 1/2 years, and this is the first time I've seen improvements, so I am still hopeful... I can't dismiss the fact that I've had some very uncommon things happen since starting the pills, and that all orgasms have had sensation. Thanks for sharing your experience with the pills. I certainly don't want to lead anyone to wasting money, but for me I'm desperate for a cure, so I'm going to keep trying them because I think they are working...or at least something I'm taking is working!! > > > > " Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. Guest guest
Definitely, girl...you gotta do what works for you. You also mentioned Royal Jelly helping you. I'm interested in that. Guest guest
That is wonderful news!...Your story offers many here hope. I am curious about yohimbe. Our nervous systems are very sensitive from going through withdrawal. How did the yohimbe affect you? Any nervousness? Blood pressure changes, etc? Thank you. Guest guest
I got it from beealive.com. I take the pure stuff which has to be mixed with something because it has a " bitter " or " sour " taste (or I personally would say absolutely horrid!) They also sell it mixed with honey, which tastes fine but is kind of messy. The pills only have like 100 mg of royal jelly, as opposed to 1000 mg per serving in the pure or sweet energy formula. Back around 2000 someone highly recommended royal jelly to me, and I had amazing results with it - as far as increased energy and overall good health. I am a very thrifty person and don't like to spend extra money, but this stuff (for me) is well worth it. I'm beginning to think that the free sample B vitamin supplement they sent me had something to do with my improvements. I stopped taking them and now want to see what happens if I go back on them. Dr. Lin's pills have a whole lot of B vitamins too, but the stuff from beealive is supposed to be absorbed much better than regular vitamins. > > > > > > > > > > > > " Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. Guest guest
Mike, I haven't noticed any negative effects yet. Also, I wish I knew how much yohimbe is in the pills. I am feeling incrediby healthy these days. As far as my improvements, I am on so much stuff that I guess I don't know if it's a combination of everything or just some, but I forgot to mention that recently I have also been using some enhancement gel called " orgasmix " which also has yohimbe in it. But the instructions seem to indicate that it is for female use only. Seems to me that there must be something similar for men. The negative effects of this gel (since I have been using it on and off for years now) is that it's effects are very temporary and in my experience seems to make me completly numb after orgasm, but it does seem to make things feel better. > > That is wonderful news!...Your story offers many here hope. Guest guest
I just wanted to say thank you very much for posting this information and for sharing your experience. Before I got genital anesthesia and just had general dysfunction I had tried other stuff from various online offers - a lot of places have money back guarantees and I had no trouble getting my money back with the few that I tried and had no luck with. I wonder if Dr. Lin would be willing to do that. > > > Some older posts regarding " Dr " Lin: > > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/SSRIsex/message/5060 > <http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/SSRIsex/message/5060> > > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/SSRIsex/message/10012 > <http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/SSRIsex/message/10012> > > Also: > > http://www.thundersplace.org/forum/showthread.php?s=8cd1a7ca7d8b884181f7\ > 77207b617030 & t=32517 & page=1 & pp=15 > <http://www.thundersplace.org/forum/showthread.php?s=8cd1a7ca7d8b884181f\ > 777207b617030 & t=32517 & page=1 & pp=15> > > Please note you are all free to buy from Lin's website if you want. > Personally, I consider his products as snake oil and please don't get > your hopes up. >
Guest guest
Thanks for all the information! I'm inspired by the positive improvements you've had, but I'm unsure where to start...since I'm not sure what helped you the most. So if I order the royal jelly, they will send me this B vitamin stuff? Also, I saw you posted about Orgasmix. Did that help you? My problem is that I reach a point that feels like orgasm, because I will have vaginal contractions and it feels " over " afterwards, but there is NO pleasure. Think it might help me? Thanks so much for all of your help! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. Guest guest
Javaelnuto, Yes, unfortunately I am probably going about this the wrong way by trying so much at once. I just know that they sent me the free sample of " B12 Plus " with my order of pure royal jelly, so I don't know if they do it for every order. All my major improvements occurred on the days after I started Dr. Lin's pills. But there were definitely noticable improvements in the weeks prior to taking Dr. Lin's stuff - and this was after about 4-6 weeks of being on royal jelly and B12plus. I have sporadic improvements with the orgasmix gel. It definitely makes things happen quicker for me. And it seems to make things feel a little bit better - not amazing - but better. Like on a scale of one to ten for pleasure without it I might get a 0 or 1, but using it I might get a 2 or 3. And it has always been my experience that only the first few vaginal contractions feel like anything, but then I continue feeling a few to several more contractions with no pleasure. There was some info on Dr. Lin's website with his explanation of why this happens, but it was too complicated for me to understand it fully. And unfortuantely I didn't bookmark it, but I think perhaps it was associated with birth control pill usage. Good luck if you try the gel and/or the beealive products. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. Guest guest
Thanks Hikergal! So are you still experiencing improvements with Dr Lin's pills? If I get desparate enough, I just might try it. I've also been holding out to try something that a sex specialist recommended for me, because I'm so scared to try something that she thinks will help, because if it doesn't I'll just be devestated...I've really tried so many things. She gave me a few oxytocin lozenges and said to suck on one 1 hour prior to sexual activity. She thinks it would help with my lack of any feeling during orgasm. Ahh...maybe I'll try it soon, but I'm NOT getting my hopes up! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. Guest guest
Just time for a quick response and I'll elaborate hopefully tomorrow. But I just wanted to say that yes, I am expererincing lots of changes/improvements, and Dr. Lin continues to answer all my questions that I've thrown out at him. I am still hopeful.... Oxytocin - interesting. I wonder if anyone else has ever tried that and had results. After reading someone's recent post (which I can't seem to find again), I researched oxytocin for a bit. Maybe I'll look into it some more. I know others think Dr. Lin is full of it, but I believe he knows what he's talking about. I don't care that he's not a real doctor - in fact I quite like the fact that he's not, considering that real doctors are the ones that got me into this hell of a mess in the first place. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. Guest guest
I wanted to give an update now that I've been on Dr. Lin's pills for 3 months. Yes, Dr. Lin was right about varying the dose of his viagrowth pills. It has helped me maintain the amazing sensation and arousal from the epicenter. In doing research I have discovered the epicenter is called the anterior fornix. There seems to be confusion and doubt concerning this information, but I can attest that it certainly holds true in my experience! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anterior_fornix http://ezinearticles.com/?A-Womans-A-Spot-Or-Anterior-Fornix---Learn-How-to-Stim\ ulate-it-to-Make-Her-Squirm-in-Delight & id=2072908 Dr. Lin keeps saying that I will make a full recovery and I hope he is right, but even if nothing else improves, having an anterior fornix that functions properly is quite an improvement. While on a scale of 1-10 orgasms are still only maybe 2s or 3s (which is good considering that before Dr. Lin's pills I had genital anesthesia and was getting zeros!), the sensation that comes from this epicenter is like a 12!! Really, it's that intense! Unfortunately this arousal and sensation only occurs with a full bladder (which Dr. Lin says is normal) but not due to visual stimuli -which I have never experienced anyway., but Dr. Lin says that it should come back once I have a powerful dopamine nervous function again. Since I have never had this sensation before (and I suspect it's because of birth control pills) I am wondering if other women have experienced it and it went away because of antidepressants or birth control pills. I would very much appreciate anybody else's experience with having this sensation or not ever having it. I have talked to two friends about it and they both have never experienced it. One was on birth control pills as a teen, the other wasn't but she had life threatening health issues as a child and who knows what kind of drugs they had to administer back then that could have messed up her sexual functioning. Anyway, the other improvement I have had with Dr. Lin's pills is that I can now very easily have orgasms with his finger pliers method. http://www.actionlove.com/love/fgplier.htm I am very grateful to Dr. Lin and his advice and help and I will keep posting if I have more improvements. He has said it will take at least 6 months of his pills plus fish oil and Vit. D so I'm hopeful that in another 3 months I will have more to write about! I also asked about diet and he said high protein/ low carb (which is very hard for me because I love carbs and don't eat much meat) and eating more seafood (also hard because I hate it!) but I'm trying! Oh a couple other amazing things - my complexion has improved noticably (Dr. Lin says due to the amino acids and herbs) and I used to have a blocked inner ear that the doctors could find nothing wrong and my hearing was fine. But this annoying sensation plagued me for almost 3 years and now it is gone! Dr. Lin says something in his pills help to calm down the auditory sensory nerves, improve the ear blood circulation, and correct the auditory nervous responses. Whatever it is, I am very grateful! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. Guest guest
Its great to hear from you, Hikergal. Glad to hear things are still improving for you, even if they aren't at 100% yet. Can you remind me again which of his products you are taking- and how often you take them ( daily, bi-weekly, whatever). Also, I look at the finger pliers method and I'm having a hard time following it. Any way, in a few sentences, you can tell me how to do it. Is it just like fingering? So confused! Looks like you are into his lingo now! I still have no understanding of what an epicenter is -- but from that wikipedia it does look like its like the gspot. I've never actually been able to find that thing...maybe I need to ask that sex doctor I see to help. I remember you had tried some other things at the same time as Dr. Lin's prodcuts and you weren't sure which was helping. Did you go off the other stuff? Maybe I really need to give this guy a try!! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. Guest guest
You may have told us before, hikergal, but how long did you have genital anesthesia? Also, I looked up the " anterior fornix " . Wiki says it's also called the " second G spot " (I tried looking for the first, but couldn't find it! Do you know if there IS one? lol). I find some of this very confusing. 'Wish they'd get together and be consistant with their terminology. I wouldn't have known about the G-spot at all had I not watched Oprah one day when she happened to be discussing it. I remember you telling us (at least I THINK it was you) that you had a baby without feeling any pain because of the genital anesthisia you had. 'So glad to hear that you are improving. Sincerely, Kay > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. Guest guest
Thanks, Kay! I have had genital anesthesia since fall of 2007, so it's almost 4 years. And yes, I did have pain free, drug free delivery in 2009 because of the genital anesthesia. No pain, no pleasure - so that's a very strong argument that my condition was not in my head!!! lol Yes, I saw where the " a-spot " is also called the second g-spot. I have read that the regular g-spot can be damaged through injury or during childbirth, and I suspect mine was damaged through injury as a child, cause I surely never had one and still don't, though at times recently I felt a tiny bit of sensation that I never had felt before so maybe there's hope for me. I forgot to mention that my urinary incontinence and frequency have improved greatly. Still have some issues, so not back to normal yet but definitely improved. My urinary issues were definitely from the antidepressant cymbalta. I still can not stop the flow of urine once in starts, which is something I definitely used to be able to do. I wonder if others in the group have issues with this? I know you have issues and think it is an outrage that there is no help out there for all of this awful health problems caused by prescribed drugs!!! Thanks again, Kay! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Dr " Lin is NOT a real medical doctor. Guest guest
Thanks, javaelnuto! I just wanted to tell you that I will respond to your questions hopefully by the weekend or soon thereafter. I haven't had much time to be on here this summer and am looking forward to the fall when I will have a bit more free time again!
