Guest guest
After a year in my solo practice, I have decided to move to a different office in an effort to decrease my overhead. I am in a practice-sharing arrangement with another part-time physician who owns the practice. After a year, I am just a little over breaking even on a month to month basis despite seeing an average of 12 patients per day and I still owe $10K on a credit line that I needed to get started. I will spare you the details about why my overhead is so high because it is an unusual situation. My question is regarding how to make the transition to my new office as smooth as possible. Does anyone have a checklist for moving a practice in terms of what needs to be done, who needs to be informed, etc...? Any words of wisdom from those who have gone through the same thing would be appreciated. Stacey
