Guest guest
Sorry I meant to say sharp memory. oi vey! Stroke Question When I went to see Dr. Milhorat back in 2000 I believe, (his PA) mentioned that the white spots on my MRI could have been left over from a stroke. I did have a stroke-like episode when I was in 7th grade (left arm and leg going numb all of a sudden-then waking up just as quickly after a minute or two). THis recollection is to the best of my memory. Went to the nurse, Dad was called, went to GP (back before there was a specialist for everything and you went to see them), GP said signs of possible heart trouble. Was sent home to sleep and rest. Moved on with life. This brings me to my question. What do you do about something like that? I have had short memory since I was in my 20's before then I could recall anything and everything (I am only 33 now). The other day at the table my daughter was talking about a fishing trip we all went on about 3 or 3 1/2 years ago and I could not recall what she was talking about. Will I begin to lose more and more of my memory like this? I have had pieces of my life disappear... Should I go in and have the testing done now? I am still recovering from a partial shoulder replacement surgery (only 3 months post-op) so it would just be one more thing.....UGH! Ifeel better now I guess. Gotta run! in Texas
