are you still noticing the gain after stopping ?

I decided to look at the matter scientifically. PSSD is most likely caused by

persistent desensitization of 5-HT1A receptors. After doing some research on

substances that reverse desensitization of these receptors I stumbled across

inositol, a naturally occuring sugar in our bodies.

ejaculation has returned to how it was before I went on Paxil. Never will I

touch an SSRI again.

That is wonderful to hear. I am going to try this again, and stick with it for

at least 4 weeks. Good on you for finding this. Not hopeful that anything will

happen, but like I stated before I had success with Buspar which works on the

same serotonin receptors...

I just bought some of this. I had noticed a little bit of improvement taking

inositol and choline but I was only taking 500 mg of inositol a day.

So here's what I'm curious about. Is PSSD caused by desensitization of serotonin

receptors then? I always hear serotonin is bad for sexuality...

I think we can safely say it has a LOT to do with it.

When I took buspar, a pharmecutical serotonin drug for anxiety it temporarily

cured my anorgasmia and gave me back sexual desire.

But very temporary. I am just starting this inositol campaign. Going to stick

with it for about 3 months and see what happens.

Just to lend to lend some credence to the SCIENTIFICALLY POSSIBLE resversal of

desensitization here is an article from the govermnment about high dose inositol

reversing lithium indused inositol depletion.

Hey guys!

Good news.

I am not sure if it is the piracetam or the inositol but I got sexual with a

girl last night and was actually horny. I could get it up when we kissed and

messed around. Still very low sensitivity, and a bit numb. We didnt have sex

because I couldnt keep it up. But I actually was horny and responded to kissing

and visual stimulation.

That is a HUGE improvement. I can feel romance again!

I expect this to continue to improve since the depression is pretty much gone.

And I don't really have anxiety.

Anyone else get this? Does it go away? I want to keep trying to get over 16

years of PSSD but this is rough.

PSSD is most likely caused by persistent desensitization of 5-HT1A receptors. After doing some research on substances that reverse desensitization of these receptors I stumbled across inositol, a naturally occuring sugar in our bodies.> > > > > > > > > > > > I've been on 18 grams of inositol once daily at bedtime for the past 7 weeks and few days (Jan 24/2011 to March 16/2011) and I am happy to say that my interest in sex has returned, my erections are back to normal, and my premature ejaculation has returned to how it was before I went on Paxil. nothing in first days. he later adds some cholin this make the most improfment.

tonight i got no wet dreams :( ... so i have to wait too, maybe it was only a

signal to calibration the brain.

i spread the dose over the day : 6 g morning, midday, evening

I did, I guess I was just expecting something more since I responded to very

small dose of choline and inositol. But I did noticed a different response to

spontaneous erection, I guess we are going to have to see it in a long term.

I think this stuff is working! I've been on it for about a week now. After the

first few days I got diarrhea but haven't since and last night I had a wet

dream. Also notice some more desire while watching visual stimuli. I'm taking

same amount 18 grams powder per day and just started adding a formula of

choline, inositol, and pantothenic acid that I think is making it work better.

I'm on week 2 of this stuff and I feel sick.. while it did give me a wet dream I

tried porn the other night and I felt absolutely nothing. In fact less than when

I wasn't on it. As for anxiety I kinda feel worse lately and it's given me

HORRIBLE stomach pain and diarrhea. I think I need to take less than 18 grams or

take little bits throughout the day because taking 18 g before bed is not

happening. I also read a study that found inositol decreased free testosterone

levels by 70 sumthin percent in women... this kinda worries me. But I'll keep on

trying this stuff since the original poster says it worked for him.
