Guest guest
Dear RA Family...I'm not feeling so good. There are so many " charlie horse " type muscle cramps along with a burning sensation in my muscles. Could that be from the fibro? I've had terrible muscle aches, but not like this. My hands have puffed up all across the knuckles that connect fingers to hands. My head feels too heavy to keep up. My right hip is on fire as well as my feet. And I've had a migraine off and on for 3 or 4 days now. My thumbs are swollen at the base and have burning pain. My mouth and throat are so dry sometimes it's hard to even open my mouth. My jaw aches and it tires me to talk. The psoriasis is popping back up in akward places. There is so much horror in this world right now, I shouldn't be complaining. I think I'm just overwelmed tonight. Hugs and prayers seriously needed. Lovingly.... Tess
Guest guest
Dear Tess: My prayers are with you. I hope by the time you get this message (I'm way behind in reading my posts)that you are feeling much better. I have " Charlies " all the time but have only one with the burning sensation. It is in the front of my leg from the top of the leg to my knee and started this whole thing with me in 1988. And you are right, it can bring you out of a dead sleep, keep you awake and feeling like the pain will never let up. The area now has become so sensitive to pressure that even my little 6 and a half pound cat hurts me so bad when he steps on it. When I was on Elavil, it somewhat controled it, however, the meds I'm on now do not control it at all. Tess, I think of you daily and wish for you to have a quick recovery. You are so sensitive to everyone and are able to say what you feel to bring comfort to others. I am praying that soon you will be back to being able to enjoy life again. You have so much to give to life. Say hello to Em for me. Not only do you have a great daughter but she has a great mother. " Hang in there, Kiddo " Take care. Love and prayers, Jan +/:=) tess_northwest@... wrote:Dear RA Family...I'm not feeling so good. There are so many " charlie horse " type muscle cramps along with a burning sensation in my muscles. Guest guest
I'm not sure what to make of everything that is going on with you, Tess, but I am surely sending hugs and prayers. Since this whole episode started, my primary concern has been infection. It continues to be. I really don't like the consistent fever and chills reports. I hope your doctors can figure all of this out very soon and do something to help you feel better. Have you run any of this by your gynecologist yet?
