On top of everything else, today I got a letter telling me the results of

the CT scan I had a couple of weeks ago. The good news is that it was

negative for lung cancer. The potentially bad news is that it showed a 2.4 x

1.9 cm nodule in the left breast, adjacent to surgical clips.

I just had a mammogram last month, so apparently a CT scan shows more detail

than a mammogram. I called the breast center and talked to the technician

who read my mammogram, and she said that it was probably just normal scar

tissue from the lumpectomy and radiation that I had last year. But if they

will send them a copy of the scan, they will be glad to look at it to make

sure.

I haven't heard back from the call I made about that but will follow up. I

am really not worried about it. My RA is my main problem right now, as

usual.

Sorry about this new scare Sue. I hope the technician is right. A second

look

should answer some questions.

I hope it turns out to be nothing and that you don't become worried

about it while you wait to find out, Sue.

+++Hi Stacey. I hope you did reschedule the CT scan. But if you didn't you

should do things that help your body detoxify, i.e. coffee enema, dry skin

brushing, Epsom salt baths, etc., and ensure you are taking niacin along with

vitamin B complex which helps your body get rid of radiation.

Hi Bee -

I did reschedule :-) And talked to my urologist. He said that he talked to the

radiologist who thinks that we can see what we need to see via an ultra sound.

I read your thoughts on ultra sound yesterday. Do you see this as a 'lesser

evil' kind of way to diagnose than the CT scan?

Thank you!

Stacey

+++Hi Stacey. Ultrasound also is radiation. Do you have pain, fullness and

other symptoms that make you believe you may have a mass in that area? Have you

done coffee enemas, which would clear out the bowel, if that was the problem?
