Guest guest
Exactly what " nasty side effect " are you reffering too? I've been on it for almost 6 and haven't seen any. I do HCG too and I am NOT infertle. Anabolic steriod users use Clomd all the time to restart after a cycle, they also HCG about as often. Good luck with it , it's certainly worth a try. > > I was wondering if anyone has tried Clomid or the generic form Clomiphene for treatment of low testosterone. > > Unlike TRT this drug does not cause the nasty side effects and won't reduce your fertility. In fact it is labeled as a drug for female infertility but there are several papers, including one published in 2010 showing it can increase testosterone in men, is safer and cheaper than TRT, and can often " reboot " the system of the hypothalamic–pituitary axis. I am assuming you don't hear much about it because pharma cannot make much money off it since its off patent now. Anyhow if you pubmed.gov search Clomiphene and Testosterone you can find quite a bit. > > I did not want to do TRT despite discovering I have low T because of the side effects and potential for infertility. This sounds like a great solution and I plan to try it once I can find a doctor who will prescribe it. Also, since it boosts LH/FSH I wonder if it could help reset something that the SSRIs have done to us men at least (I don't think this will do anything for women except make them more fertile). > > In one paper from 2003 (Guay et al) they found that 75% of the people in their study improved in regards to erectile function. Something like 40% completely and 35% partially (you'll have to look at the paper for exact numbers). Now just to find a doctor who is not brainwashed by pharma into only prescribing TRT. >

Guest guest
Long term TRT from what I have read can cause infertility. It also sucks because its a life long therapy. I am only 27 and really want to reboot, not just medicate. We'll see. > > > > I was wondering if anyone has tried Clomid or the generic form Clomiphene for treatment of low testosterone. > > > > Unlike TRT this drug does not cause the nasty side effects and won't reduce your fertility. Guest guest
Is there a reason you only took it for a few weeks if you saw these benefits? In the studies I read they prescribed it for 4 months. > > > > I was wondering if anyone has tried Clomid or the generic form Clomiphene for treatment of low testosterone. > > > > Unlike TRT this drug does not cause the nasty side effects and won't reduce your fertility. Guest guest
I have been taken it for months on and off. The best results are about a week after starting taking the drug and then it only last a few weeks. Recently though I have had an increase in sexual activity but I am not sure what to attribute it too. Perhaps extended use has benefits but I will not make that leap yet. > > > > > > I was wondering if anyone has tried Clomid or the generic form Clomiphene for treatment of low testosterone. > > > > > > Unlike TRT this drug does not cause the nasty side effects and won't reduce your fertility.
