Guest guest
To clarify a little. I do have end stage liver disease. I have a well compensated liver. The function of my liver is normal. The hepatologist said " You don't have a liver problem, you have a plumbing problem. Your liver is so scarred, the blood is backing up in the portal vein, getting held up in the spleen, where it is not getting filtered right. " For the first time, he suggested that portal pressure was the cause of the pain. So I do not need a transplant, but things aren't so peachy. I want him to be wrong about weather I'll improve more, but I scar so badly, I have a gloomy feeling that my liver scars will be like all my other scars. Bad. I had eye surgery as a child, and the scar tissue in my conjunctiva is extensive and ALWAYS bothers me. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Now that's room service!
