Guest guest
Ok... Since Friday night/ Saturday morning, I have been in agony. I can't sit up or stand for any longer than an hour without having to lie flat. I am pretty sure that I have a leak somewhere. Here is my problem: By Sunday, I couldn't stand it anymore so I called TCI. The on-call doctor was wonderful. He (Dr. Remy?) said to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Advised gatorade and told me to call the office today. I listened to what he said, and it did help a little. I am getting 2-3 hours now before I have to lay down. I called my nurse at TCI and according to my husband, she called back while I was sleeping. She questioned my mental status (which is ok) and advised that I find a doctor in the area to fix it. Here is my dilemma. The doctors in this area are the reason I went to TCI. They are clueless about my conditions and/or the proper treatment. Add to that the fact that ALL of these doctors require me to " establish care " before they will treat me. I don't want to establish care anywhere but at TCI. I am at a loss. I have my initial appointment with Urology tomorrow so I can have the urodynamics test done so I can schedule my surgeries with Dr. B. In the meantime, what do I do? Any advice will be appreciated, guys! Hugs in Tunkhannock, PA
