Guest guest
I'm sure this is oversimplified and unscientific, BUT if we accept that lactic acidosis is caused by severe mitochondrial toxicity (which many believe), and lactate levels come down when stopping HIV antivirals -- isn't that an indication of mitochondrial improvement? If so, couldn't we expect even further improvement in mitochondrial damage if it were possible to avoid the offending substances?
