Guest guest
On one of the lists I'm on I saw a recommendation for the order to give the individual mumps, measles and rubella. If it was this list would someone please post that again. TIA Elaine in GA
Guest guest
Have you done a titers test to see if she still has immunity? From what I remember they do not make a mercury free tetanus single shots. Maybe this has changed lately with the demand? But there are some DTaP shots that are mercury free , these are given for the younger kids. I lent out Dr. Cave's book on vaccines but from what I recall you have up to 72 hours after exposure to get the tetanus immugoblin shot. All the best, Ann Collett 's mom J2thfamily@... wrote: Low and behold I took my oldest to the Dr. today for her physical and they wanted to update her Tetnus. Unfortunately when we looked on the label the tetnus vaccine for older kids still contains mercury perservatives. We passed on the vaccine, but we will need to update her vaccines soon and were wondering where we could look to try to locate the tetnus booster in either a single dose vial, or one with no mercury perservatives. The child we are looking for this for is 14, normal - but she has a brother with autism and we are unwilling to take chances with any of our kids! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks LOU
