Allergy to Valtrex or virus detox

Hi everyone,

I searched the posts and found that many of you reported rashes and

peeling skin on the feet. My daughter is also on Vatrex and showing

the same reaction. However, I was told by an accupuncturist that my

daughter showed an allergy to Vatrex (muscle test reaction). Could the

peeling and rashes be from the allergy to the medication vs. a virus

detox?

Also, my daughter is also showing a decline in benefit from the

Valtrex. How long should you stay on Valtrex before considering

another anti-viral med?
