He sleeps less and less well, his dreams have become hard for him to sort from reality until he is fully awake, at which time he has a lot more hallucinations. His gait is less steady. Sundowning and confusion start for real about 4PM, shortfully after which he thankfully takes a nap. During the " episode " a week or so back there was evidence that Capgras syndrome is ready to pounce, but with his overall improvement that has faded for the time being. All of this is to be expected with LBD. Sometimes we get a warning, sometimes not . . . Thanks for asking, Sandie. Cheryl
Guest guest
Cheryl Thank you for responding. Wow, sorry to hear about the progression. My heart goes out to you, and everyone in this group. There is so little warning and the symptoms do tend to sneak up on us. I hope this levels out for you for a while, giving you time to adjust and process what has happened. Take care of yourself and please keep us posted. Sandie Des Moines, IA
