Guest guest
Sorry I cannot post the file as it is too large. If someone feels that they are knowledgeable in this area, please send me an e mail and I will send an attachment of the floor plan. Guest guest
I used the book and found it very helpful. It is well worth the cost. Medical Office Floor Plan. Hi all, It was my pleasure meeting a few of our fellow members in San Francisco. Many of you are an inspiration. I have an opportunity to lease a place with the landlord being flexible for the build out. He has requested me to draw a floor plan. I am inclined to have 2 Examination rooms and have attached a plan. (In the files section) Please critique. Any one has a good floor plan which may be of help to others? Guest guest
When I was a resident in Wisconsin many years ago a common practice was for 2 doctors in solo practice to share an office and call. They had an interesting office layout that I think would be relevant to doctors in this group who want the advantages of being solo but want easy coverage and cost sharing. The doctors would have a joint waiting room with a reception/billing window on opposite sides of the waiting room. Each doctor would have 2 exam rooms and a small office but they shared a bathroom and a small lab. They also shared an ekg machine. I am sure this type of floor plan could modified so that 2 doctors could fit into a 1200-1300 sq ft office. Larry Lindeman MD > > I used the book and found it very helpful. Guest guest
That would probably work. I’m just not sure sharing call is actually better than talking all your own. I have really came full circle on that line of thinking, based largely on Gordon ’s original articles. Sharing call would actually increase my work load, I’m certain of that. The exception is of course when you need someone to cover if you are physically out of town. Medical Office Floor Plan. Guest guest
This is the way mine is set up except there is no window, it is open, we share all equipment, supplies etc. It is easy to separate out in quick books. It works. Brent > > > > > I used the book and found it very helpful.
