I need to know about dosage, frequency, intervals of breaks, what to expect, how to observe signs of vitamin A poisoning, and when to stop, etc. Thank you in advance. Limin PS. Guest guest
We did the two-day high dose protocol last year and saw mild improvements in OCD. However, his tithers were not that high (767 reference range 100-600). We are going to retest his tithers again and if necessary, repeat. Several people tried to tell me that the reason we did not get dramatic gains is that I did not continue until we got "the rash." Our DAN was adamant that it only be done for 2 days. Any way, we saw absolutely no negatives and neither has anyone else who limited it to 2 days. It is my understanding that you should never do the 2-day protocol unless you have checked tithers and those tithers are elevate. I do know several people tried to push it byeond the 2 days, and ran into trouble. I do have a question regarding maintenance dosing == I have gotten mixed answers. Guest guest
Hi Vera, I think the concept of not doing the Vit A protocol unless you see titers is a western medicine concept of not treating without a marker. From one parent to the next, I don't see harm in doing a two day trial of Vit A. I believe there are cridders we still don't know about, so I don't see why we always need to see them on a lab test. Just one guy's opinon. See you this weekend in San Diego. - Stan > I remember reading somewhere about Vitamin A help to fight measles virus but forget the details. Guest guest
Again, just remember that a public document like this has to be written with a western med approach. Yes, Vitamin A is similar to Vitamin B in that you can put too much in and it does build up, but as a short trial... if I felt there was a chance my son was virally involved, I would consider it. - Stan > I remember reading somewhere about Vitamin A help to fight measles virus but forget the details.
