Guest guest
Hi Dee, I suppose I have Hashi’s. My chiropractor says with antibodies over 10 means I do. Mine was 12. I’m still trying to figure out what to do. My Free T’s are on the low side also. Hopefully, your GP will address you symptoms. How did the CT scan go? Obviously I had an ultrasound to find out I even had a tumour...but other than that, nothing. I go for the CT tomorrow. The only reason I even got bloodwork yesterday, was because I mentioned my concerns to my gp. My ENT said they needed to be checked annually, however, i am losing weight, and have many, many other symptoms...I am kind of nervous to confront my ENT. I see him again in 2 weeks...he want to check to see how I am healing from my hemi...thanks Liz...do you have hashi's? > > Hi Dee, > > > > Have you checked for diabetes? > > > > Liz > > > > From: Thyroiditis [mailto:Thyroiditis ] On > Behalf Of dcondran@... > Sent: Tuesday, March 02, 2010 8:35 AM > To: Thyroiditis > Subject: new to group > > > > > > hello...just wanted to introduce myself...just had a hemi two weeks ago. doc > thought i had thyca, however, my patho for my 5 cm tumour came back benign > adenoma (thank goodness!!), however, he says he believes i have hashimotos > thyroiditis...don't know too much about it. family doc says it is diagnosed > by 'exclusion'. i just had my levels checked yesterday, as i have lost 10lbs > since my surgery, so the doc is wondering if i am hyper since the surgery. > all i know is i am exhausted, not very hungery, very thirty, very dry mouth, > itchy skin. am having a CT with contrast tomorrow for lymph nodes in my neck > that have been enlarged for quite some time... anyhow, any info. on hashi's > would be greatly appreciated. i seem to be getting mixed info. everywhere. > one question i do have is, are you normally hyper or hypo with hashi's or is > it all individual? thank you for your time....dee >
