Guest guest
Yes I have spoke on the phone with Dr. Goldstein in San Diego and he believes in/has treated this. > > Just curious?? >
Guest guest
Yes, I've found one. The Wikipedias article contains a number of studies by reputable journals the PSSD show. An informed, insightful doctor takes them seriously. If your dentist it is not interested, I would give him for the interview thank you and go. Finding someone of you is to help you in your particular situation very difficult. They can also provide a Diagnosse, but that you is not so helpful. We do want to be healthy. I would consult a homeopath and tell him your problem. > > Just curious?? >
Guest guest
Shipko, Goldstein... > > Just curious?? >
Guest guest
When I came up with the issue, two Psychiatrists told me that it would be statistically doubtful that I had PSSD. And one Psychiatrist didn't knwo that PSSD even exists. So all in all they tend to deny that I have PSSD. Probably it seems to hard for them to confess that the drugs they're prescribing can do so much harm (my psychological interpretation why they tend to deny it). > > Just curious?? >
Guest guest
what was his method? of treatment i mean? > > > > Just curious?? > > >
Guest guest
I found an informational article about PSSD on the website of a psychologist in Boston: Stanley Ducharme, Ph.D. So it would seem likely that he that he believes it. Here is the article: http://www.stanleyducharme.com/resources/depressingnews.htm And here is a link to his professional credentials: http://www.stanleyducharme.com/bio.html > > > > Just curious?? > > >
Guest guest
FWIW -- Stanley Ducharme is a _psychologist_ (no " MD), not a _psychiatrist_. They're two different " guilds " . Ducharme _cannot_ prescribe pills. There was a good article in the New York Times about a year ago, by a psychiatrist. He described current psychiatric practice as working like this: .. . . Determine what (mental) illness the patient has; .. . . Prescribe the appropriate drug(s). If the patient wants to _talk_ with somebody, or if the psychiatrist thinks that talking might help, another professional (a psychologist or counsellor) does the talking. The author has started to wonder if this is a good model for treatment.<g> Asking a psychiatrist about " bad drug side-effects " is like asking a surgeon about " bad surgical outcomes " . They will usually have deep biases in favor of their chosen treatments, and the answer will be: .. . . " If such problems exist, they're very rare -- .. . . don't worry about them. .. . . And none of _my_ patients have those problems! " > > > > > > Just curious?? > > > > > >

Guest guest
After suffering from permanent genital anethesis for 8 yrs I FINALLY found a doctor who listened to me and did as many tests as he could to find out what the problem was. He tells me he believes me enough that I may use his name if I write a book. I am so blessed to have this wonderful Christian doctor. However, I must tell you that MY sexual dysfunction did not come from SSRIs, but rather from the so-called " anti-pscyhotic " , haldol, which was forcibly injected into me over 27 yrs ago. I have been free from neuroleptics since that time (except if you count a very occasional sleeping pill, Dalmane, last used about 4 yrs ago) and I have never taken SSRIs. Guest guest
Thank you Freek. That is interesting. Please keep us informed. You mean " genital anesthesia " and " anhedonic ejaculation " ? Has he cured this situation often in other patients? Would you please ask him to send an email to you in English, in which he mentions the exact diagnosis, biological causes and medical treatment? And could he mention in that email relevant medical publications or studies about that disorder? Does he approve that his email is copied to this message board? And maybe he is interested to join this message board on Yahoo? genital anesthesia http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oG7lI7szhNFKkAsn1XNyoA?ei=UTF-8 & vf=all & vm=\ p & rd=adv & meta=fl%3D1%26vl%3Den & fr=yfp-t-701 & p=%2B%22genital+anesthesia%22 & fr2=sp\ -qrw-orig-top & norw=1 anhedonic ejaculation http://search.yahoo.com/search?n=10 & ei=UTF-8 & va_vt=any & vo_vt=any & ve_vt=any & vp_vt\ =any & vd=all & vst=0 & vf=all & vm=p & fl=1 & vl=lang_en & fr=yfp-t-701 & p=%22anhedonic+ejacul\ ation%22 & vs= > > yes marcel waldinger, but he says it is coused bij ssri but its not > > Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction and that the writing on wikipa about Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction is not correct. > > in my case his name for my case is genitale anastasia and Adonis ejaculation coused by ssri. Guest guest
So Waldinger says the problems are your nerves in your genitals and not your brain? thats totally bullshit - sorry but of course my brain not working straight is the reason i have no libido or genital anesthesia or anhedonic ejaculation. this has nothing to do with nerves in my genitals. > > > > > > Just curious?? > > > > > >
