Guest guest
So you think your brain is still deteriorating from the one pill? I'm not saying a don't believe you, but yours would have to be the most extreme form of PSSD I've ever encountered. Guest guest
We could start to set up an internet chat room for mutual support. That can be easily done without money with free chatroom software and a free server. Sex and tragedy sell well in the media, so PSSD can be a commercial interesting topic for media. Suicide is not the solution in my opinion. Do we have to bequetahe scorched earth? Guest guest
I don't think it should be limited to sexual dysfunction. I just submitted my complaint about Effexor to the FDA. The more symptoms they hear about, the more likely we are to get someone with clout to pay attention. So I don't think it's a good idea to limit it to sex. Nobody takes sex seriously, anyway. Guest guest
We definitely do not want threats, violence or arson. That could even lead to a police investigation and harsh convictions under the terrorist act, reputation damage and prohibition of this message board. If this PSSD group will ever stimulate violence, I will quit my membership. We should use the law and politics in our advantage, like the pharma companies do. We need politically active democratic organisations in many countries, each with leaders and task groups like management, politics, science, software, archive, web design and PR. We can realize those organisations by starting an extra PSSD forum with modern forum software. That forum software can offer a clear structure of topic categories and can also be visible for non members. > > Are there otheres militant PSSD-Sufferers? > > I think I'm one of among them. Guest guest
Ok micheal, I knew I could count on you, there are others? I need at least 15-20 people to mobilize. What have you got to lose? We're lifers. Contact me, we can also involve Shipko and Bahrick if it becomes a real thing. Vornan I was able to follow any changes in the brain that brought me to full pSSD (with full loss of emotion and motivation). That's why I am a firm supporter of the epigenetics way. No matter how many pills you have taken, what matters is the reaction of your nervous system and withdrawal from SSRI exposure. Probably if you had taken a single pill after a certain period of time you would be found in your current conditions. Are you agree with the plan vornan? Your support can be determinant. > > > > I seem to have understood that at this rate we will not make a single > > step forward in understanding and treatment of this curse. Guest guest
No i don't talking about violence. I am talking about PACIFIC demonstration in front of some institution / research center to attract public attention and shake the pharmaceutical. And we do not move from there until we have answers, even if doing hunger strikes. That's the only way. > > > > Are there otheres militant PSSD-Sufferers? > > > > I think I'm one of among them. Guest guest
@Steve: I wrote this after two bottels of whine. So I wasn't serious. @Allesandro: I have to improve my english. I'm able to understand well what you say but I have the problem that I have to struggle for words if I want to express correctly what I mean. So it's difficult to comunicate and occupies much time. But I'm working to improve this. > > > > > > I seem to have understood that at this rate we will not make a single > > > step forward in understanding and treatment of this curse. Guest guest
Prolonged hunger strike is very unhealthy and can cause lifelong obesity. Civil disobedience and hunger strike are possibilities, but there are much easier, safer and more friendly ways to draw extensive media attention. We can learn that from political groups worldwide. Our actions should be sympathetic IMHO to mobilize support from the public, researchers and politicians. And IMO we should start making a nice PSSD website and upload more informative videos on Youtube. Those videos can be anonymous by using reading texts with music. > > No i don't talking about violence. Guest guest
I suppose it's possible that a drug could be a sort of " catalyst " to a progressive epigenetic change. Though this is a worst case scenario and one that I have not really contemplated seriously before. If this is indeed the case for you, I'm sorry, that's awful. As far as organizing protests go, this has been discussed before. Personally I don't think it will do much good, but please feel free to use this forum to organize something if you want. Guest guest
Every person who has gone through puberty has experienced a permanent change in sexuality-- from being a nearly sexless child (though still sensual)to becomeing a sexual person, orchestrated by some naturally occuring chemical signals. I feel like the SSRI returned me physiologically to the way that I was before puberty-- my experience of self and the world is no longer permeated with the motivation and excitement of sex. The difference is that in childhood, that state is natural and you don't know any different-- so there is no sense of loss, only a sense of awakening and wonder as the world becomes a sexual place. Being an adult who has been chemically returned to a state of pre-puberty-- but with adult genitals and a memory of sex-- is painful, leaves me feeling like an alien among my family and friends no matter how much I try to explain, creates a sense of acute loss and a need to drastically alter my image of how my life and future can work. I don't doubt that Clown Senza could have gotten PSSD from one pill. Though I kept taking Citalopram for several months because I had never heard of PSSD, I lost all interest in sex after less than a week on it. My permanent damage may have happened in less than a week. I'll never know. > > > > > > > > I seem to have understood that at this rate we will not make a single > > > > step forward in understanding and treatment of this curse. Guest guest
" Scorched earth " is hyperbole. Terrorism is not being suggested, and it probably wouldn't be effective. Read a history of the AIDS movement. Those guys -- in the face of impending death -- organized, and picketed medical conferences, and disrupted seminars, and generally made pests of themselves. After a few years, the doctors started to respond to their concerns. > > > > Are there otheres militant PSSD-Sufferers? > > > > I think I'm one of among them. Is it necessary to take up arms? Guest guest
Non-violent demonstrations are very important to do. They can be held in or outside medical conferences and seminars, universities, government buildings, mass events, television buildings, news paper offices, pharma companies, etc. Demonstrators can wear masks or covering face make up and wigs to be unrecognisable. Those protests actions can be carried out by a single person or group. We should learn indeed from and consult other non-violent protest movements like the AIDS movement. > > > > > > Are there otheres militant PSSD-Sufferers? > > > > > > I think I'm one of among them. Is it necessary to take up arms? Suicide is not the solution in my opinion. Do we have to bequetahe scorched earth? Increasingly I think so.. > > > > > >
Guest guest
ehi, ti ho mandato una email un pò di tempo fa, non l' hai ricevuta per caso? Io pure volevo fare sta cosa. Qualcuno è interessato a parlarne? Translation: hey I dropped a mail to you about a month ago, but had no response. Did you even got it? I was willing to organize something similar, as I already pointed on my post some time ago. Nobody is willing to help us, especially if we don't help us ourselves. Is anybody interested? Please don't hesitate to contact me privately
