Guest guest
hi again, reading more posts and i'm not sure what female hormones have to do with hashimoto's, but i am curious for more info? i had huge uterine fibroids, so i had a UFE instead of a hysterctomy, anyway my estrogen is like a 26 and my progesterone like a 9, so i have low estrogen, but still have estrogen dominance, the holtorf doctor gave me preogesterone, but i don't take it. i wanted to learn more about it before taking it. my testosterone was high, so they restesed it and also tested me for cancer (some blood test for cancer?) and the cancer test came back normal and the second testosterone test came back normal too. do hormones affect hashimoto's? i can't imagine salavia tests being accurate, and i would wonder about all these labs, it would seem that the labs doctors use would be the ones that would be credible, my doctor uses labcorp, and all the tests are blood tests, except for some urine and stool for certain things. from my on line research it seems like everyone has something to sell, their lab test, labs make money too, or their supplement, so it's hard to tell who is honest and then of course normal doctors are all about pharmacutical compaines and i don't trust them either. but a lot of the natural stuff is hog wash too, they blame everything on candida and i do not have antibodies for candidia and i do not get yeast infections, or they blame it on heavy metals and my urine came back negative for heavy metals, i think a bunch of it is hog wash to sell people their supplements or their candida diet or their heavy metal remedies. the onlt tests that haven't been normal was my vitamin d, which has been linked to autoimmune diseases and my hashimoto's test. oh and both my kids were low and my friend got tested and she was low too, my husband is normal, but he is in the sun everyday without sunblock. i bet everyone with hashimoto's is low and should get tested, i didn't follow the trevor marshall protocol because it advises against d and sunlight, which to me seemed too unhealthy. but i am lloking forward to see what my blood test comes out for the yersinia antibodies.
