Guest guest
Goodmorning Tim ! So, how do you plan to impliment the theory? Have you done so already? Results? - Spring,Tx Subject: Tim Ferriss 4 Hour Body Sex TipsTo: SSRIsex Date: Friday, January 7, 2011, 7:29 PM Was reading this book mostly because Im interested in weightlifting but he included some interesting advice about sex. He was saying the importance of vitamin A and D and cholesterol for sex and recommended taking grass fed butter, cod liver oil and added vitamin D supplements. Apparentely it is based on Weston Price's findings about the traditional diets of primitive cultures all of which are rich in vitamin A, fat and so on. Thought I would give it a try
Guest guest
Haha it is . Not implemented it yet but planning to include grass-fed butter, eggs and cod-liver oil into my supplement regime. His idea is that cholestrol is made from saturated fats and it is needed to make sex hormones. Goodmorning Tim ! So, how do you plan to impliment the theory? Have you done so already? Guest guest
Apparently, the cholesterol made from saturated might not be so harmful, but the cholesterol made from fructose is the real nasty stuff. Anyway, don't take my word for it, people will need to make up their own minds. http://style.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474978343438 Is Fructose Causing Your High Cholesterol? July 02, 2010 02:25 AM EDT (Updated: July 02, 2010 02:25 AM EDT) views: 197 | 2 people recommend this | comments: 2 Fructose found in juice (or high fructose in artificial juice/soda/numerous processed products which is just a higher ratio of fructose to glucose) is entirely processed in the liver (unlike glucose which is utilized by approximately 80% by cells before the other 20% go to the liver). Once fructose goes to the liver it's highly phosphorylated and you're left with a lot of waste products from that process. One of those waste products is citrate. Citrate highly increases your level of VLDL (very low density lipoprotein) cholesterol. VLDL cholesterol contains the highest amount of triglycerides, increasing your risk of coronary artery disease, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke. That can of soda/bottle of juice/ketchup/any product containing high fructose corn syrup isn't just bad for your waistline, it's also bad for your heart. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the article and link below below, 'The Daily Lipid', say's that honey, which contains a lot of fructose, appears to be okay. Understanding exactly why honey fructose doesn't have the same perilous effects as purified fructose will be awfully difficult. Honey contains at least 180 different substances. Some of these are antioxidants, and others affect the intestinal flora in ways that alter systemic lipid metabolism. In future posts, I'll try to unravel this mystery. http://blog.cholesterol-and-health.com/2010/10/high-fructose-corn-syrup-is-sweet.html Kaivey > >> >> > > Subject: Tim Ferriss 4 Hour Body Sex Tips> > To: SSRIsex > > Date: Friday, January 7, 2011, 7:29 PM> >> >> >> >> > Was reading this book mostly because Im interested in weightlifting but he> > included some interesting advice about sex. Guest guest
Sorry ! I'd be interested in how it goes. Pray tell what is "Grass Fed Butter"....perhaps range fed cow source? Which of the Cod-Liver Oil formulas does he specify? There are several based on what part of the country you live as well as time of year. Good Luck! - Spring,Texas Subject: Tim Ferriss 4 Hour Body Sex TipsTo: SSRIsex Date: Friday, January 7, 2011, 7:29 PM Was reading this book mostly because Im interested in weightlifting but he included some interesting advice about sex. Guest guest
I think he just means butter from cows fed on grass rather than grain. He recommends New Zealand butter for that reason. As for cod liver oil i forget what he recommends but im going with nordic naturals version as that is what they had in the healthstore. ive realised for a while now that high sugar high processed grain diets are far worse for your health than high fat diets. Like many others i fell for the low fat diet craze Sorry ! I'd be interested in how it goes. Pray tell what is " Grass Fed Butter " ....perhaps range fed cow source? Guest guest
High Fructose Corn Syrup is probably one of the most toxic things you can eat. It ought to be outlawed but the corn lobby keeps it around. Its a pain because you have to read all the label but I won't eat anything that contains it. You should really stay away from it for your general health. Not only is it bad for you and makes toxic compounds in the liver, but your body has no biochemical feedback mechanism for it. Thus you can get fat from it very easily. Eggs on the other hand aren't that bad for you. Sure you shouldn't have them every day but some cholesterol is good for you. After all testosterone and the other steroid type hormones are made from it. If you look up their chemical structures they look pretty similar. > > > > > > > > > From: viking2470 colver.john@ > > > Subject: Tim Ferriss 4 Hour Body Sex Tips > > > To: SSRIsex > > > Date: Friday, January 7, 2011, 7:29 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Was reading this book mostly because Im interested in weightlifting > but he > > > included some interesting advice about sex.
