Guest guest
The only thing I remember is being SSSOOOOOO Tired. I think I had some chest pains too but like I said I was recovering from the thyroid surgery. My mom was the one who noticed the symptoms. I couldn't get out of bed, so she called the surgeon. He was VERY adamant about getting me to the hospital. We live in a very small town with a tiny hospital, so they gave me a shot of calcium IV in the ER and sent my by ambulance to the hospital where I had the surgery. I was in the hospital for 4 days getting IV calcium until the parathyroid kicked in and started working. It is actually the gland that controls the calcium in your body. abijann <no_reply > wrote: What symptoms did you have when your calcium went so low? Did you start to have problems with your heart beating right? How long did they keep you in there for that? Calcium is also one of the things that is necessary for the heart rhythm. --------------------------------- Need a vacation? Get great deals to amazing places on Yahoo! Travel.
