Guest guest
Thank you for the helpful reply. Since I give the girls probiotics being good bacteria and I have yet to start the Nystatin again which kills good and bad bacteria what is the optimal way to give them these supplements? If I give them together than I am “wasting” the probiotic since the Nystatin will kill it correct? So I should give them the probiotic in between the times I give them the Nystatin?? Or do I have such a misunderstanding of how all this science works I don’t want to have one work against the other. Also, would it be a good idea to introduce a natural product such as the viralstop or OLE until we get Valtrex? Thanks again!

Accordingly, it will not kill any bacteria. If you wanted, you could dose the Nystatin and probiotics at the same time. what is the optimal way to give them these supplements? Virastop and OLE can both kick up tremendous yeast, so you might want to get a handle on the yeast before starting any antiviral. There are some great posts from a while back where Shoemaker talks about his OLE experience with his three kids. You might run a few searches to see if you can find them. Remember for dosing purposes that OLE and Virastop will kill bacteria, so you probably don't want to give these at the same time as probiotics.
