The video

is great, very inspiring, but it does not mention what was key to his recovery,

on that he was on the DAN protocol (which as we all know has tremendous

variability with regard to doctors and successes). Was he a valtrex/viral

kid? Chelation kid? Gut kid? I am

always curious what treatments actually recovered a child, something had to

have been extremely dead on instrumental, (obviously the timing was probably

key as well)….

I know he was on Transdermal chelation, I

think DMSA but not sure. -

Baxter's mom here. You are right in that the video doesn't explain

what we did. Here is a brief overview of what I send out to parents

that contact me about Bax. I can see that the inserts (ex the pic of

the loss of his diagnosis) will not work in this format. Please feel

Thank you so much for writing. I deeply appreciate your contact and

wish for nothing but healing and health for your child. We did many

an intervention for Baxter. These included both biomedical and

traditional therapies. We personally feel that traditional therapy

(speech, OT etc…) were not successfully utilized until we treated

Baxter with biomedical intervention and addressed some of his severe

health issues (such as his gut and toxicity) were in check. Baxter's

These are some of the supplements we utilized during the course of

Baxter's recovery

§S-Boulardii (natural yeast fighter)

§Probiotics (min. of 250 billion organisms /day)

I Like VSL#3 and www.customprobiotics.com (tell Harry `Baxter's mom'

sent you) Rotate different brands and strains of probiotics routinely

§Customized Amino Acids

§Epsom salts (in the bath every night…GREAT for detox and phenols)

§Minerals (I like E-lyte, because they are liquid and easy to get

in, but there are many good ones)

§Vitamins A, E and C

§Body Bio Balance oil

§Cod Liver Oil (saw language boom with this!) & Evening Primrose oil

§Folapro

§Enzymes ( a must for most of our kids)

§Glutathione

§Authia cream (also called TTFD)

§Colostrum (good for " gut " kids..make sure its casein free!)

§DMG (more language with this!!!)

§Methyl B12

§Phoscol (for elevated kidney/liver enzymes)

Currently:

Baxter is now 7 ½ years old and is completely recovered from

autism. He attends 2nd grade (even doing 3rd grade work!) without

any support in the classroom. He receives NO therapy of any kind,

has tons of friends, goes to birthday parties, attends gymnastics and

piano lessons and is an exuberant track and field fanatic! We still

have to gently monitor his gut (yeast and bacteria can and do still

flare despite vigilance) and this seems to be the last residual side

effect from his poisoning. We share our story only to inspire hope.

We had some extremely dark dark days where we believed and were told

Baxter would never recover and there is no cure for autism. There

is no ONE SIZE FITS ALL for each child, but there is recovery and
