Welcome to the group. :o)

You affirmations should be what you are " WANTING " to see manifested in your

life.

Such as:

I prosper in everything I do.

Everything is mine.

I have the perfect job.

I am confident of my capabilities........... etc. etc.

NOTHING..........NO>>>>>>>>THING is YOUR fault. There are NO mistakes. You

made

choices and you can see where somehow they have not worked............SO

what do you

do?????????????? YOU MAKE DIFFERENT ONES.

YOU are NOT a speck ............. you are one with me...........you are one

with everyone.

WE are everything together. :o)

Affirm what you want to see............and keep looking. No one is suffering

only if you

think they are.

Keep on keeping on.

Your perfect just as you were created,

Susie

Welcome, :)

Affirmations are a lot of hard work, but they can truly change your life.

Sometimes I even get myself confused ~ and this is a great group to be in! They

help you get right back on track.

First, you mentioned having guilt. Let go of the guilt. (Do you have the book

You Can Heal Your Life by Louise L. Hay??? Try to get it if you don't. It's

amazing!). Everyday say to yourself, " I release all guilt. I let go of the past.

I am safe. "

As to your job, think in the " now. " You have a job that you truly love working

w/ and for people you love and making great money. Say it over & over. Your

every thought becomes reality. When you start thinking negative, replace them w/

positive affirmations.

I will post more for you as soon as I can look it up.

Take care!

Luv

Michele

Hi everyone,

I have been reading your messages with a lot of interest!! This seems to be

a great group - just what I've been looking for.

My name is and I live in Alabama with my husband of a little over 5

years and my 3 yr. old precious angel daughter. I also have a 20 yr. old son

that lives with his father in another state. My 3 yr. old was a BIG surprise

at

my age - but she has truly been my salvation!

Right now I am in the worst circumstances that I have ever been in. And your

uplifting messages have meant a lot. My husband and I left Florida a little

over two months ago and moved back to Alabama (its supposed to be " home " for

me, but I don't feel at home even here anymore)! We quit our jobs - his

health

is bad - and our plan was for me to find a job and he would stay home with

our 3 yr. old while he recuperated and we got back on our feet. Well, the

" plan " hasn't worked at all. I've not been able to find a job here and now

all the

savings are gone. Everything did seem to go good at first - but now I'm

desperate to find a job! I've tried to stay positive (though I'm having a

hard

time - fighting feelings of bitterness mostly). Finding help has been almost

impossible. I guess I just need some encouragement. I have learned a lot of

lessons during this time and I try to see everyday how we've been blessed.

What affirmations should I be using? I have a lot of guilt over, once again,

making a mistake and doing the wrong thing. My child is suffering, my whole

family is suffering, all because of me and my plans that haven't worked out.

I'm truly not whining new friends, just trying to fight my way out of this

and find some understanding (and answers!). I know the universe is at work -

and I'm just a speck here - but I need to find some good out of all of this.

Smiles from Alabama,

Hi. My name is Sharolyn and am new to this group. I have 3 kids, 2

NT ages 6 & 9 girls, son 8 yrs dx'd as autism, severe; neuroimmune

disorder; apraxic. We have been on various meds, therapies, etc as

all of you have. Most recently (last 8 months) on the NIDS protocol

with Dr Goldberg. My son is on Valtrex 500 mg 3/4tab three times

day, NIzoral 100 mg every day and Celexa 20 mg a day.

I live in Arizona and I have been trying without success to find a

DAN doctor here that would be able to treat my son. I saw a post

about Geoff Radoff and he is starting to see people near our home. I

have made a couple of calls and I am awaiting their call back. I've

also been told to check out our naturopathic college here.

Dr Goldberg doesn't believe in supplements or b12 and I feel like

maybe my son is missing out on some good stuff. We did try b12 shots

for a short period before moving to arizona 3 yrs ago. I can't

remember a big change, but it was during a difficult time. It was a

bit of a blur.

Does anyone else here use SSRI's for the purpose of increasing blood

flow to the brain? It is the one drug I am not too excited about

giving my son. We were on Zoloft and dc'd it due to aggressiveness,

screaming and insomnia!!!

Thanks, SHarolyn

Welcome to the world of autism therapy outside of Dr. Goldberg. I

happen to have a very good relationship with him and I am a fan of

his focus in this area, but autism is not just a stealth virus. As

much as I would like it to be that simple, I really don't believe it

is.

SSRIs are drugs that mask the underlying neurotransmitter issue.

It's like the concept of using steroids for inflamation but not

treating the reason the inflamation is there. It just doesn't make

sense to jump right into them with all we know about how

neurotransmitters are methylated, that methylation in impaired in

autism and that MB12 and other therapies help methylation. I

personally prefer fixing the problem.

Thanks for the insight. I really didn't think about the SSRI as a mask, now I am really concerned. FYI, my son who is nonverbal, was recently switched from Zoloft to Celexa and a few days between the 2 meds, I actually weaned him down to nothing and then restarted with the Celexa. Well, my son since restarting the SSRI, has put his med box in the garbage can 2 different days. I think he may be trying to tell me something : & (I feel like s>> Hi.
