Guest guest
If it's a prescriptioned drug and you have insurance I should think those would all be paid for-or in part anyway. Guest guest
They'll only pay for 2 tabs.....said that's all the insurance will cover. Is my pharmacist doing something wrong? <wouldn't be surprised!> Maurine Meleck wrote: If it's a prescriptioned drug and you have insurance I should think those would all be paid for-or in part anyway. Guest guest
Amy, they should pay for whatever your dr rx'd a month's supply for. Otoh, just one or two tabs is the standard rx for adults who get yeast so they could be basing their month's supply on that information, geesh... Guest guest
Amy, call your insurance company and find out what is going on. You should have a booklet from insurance that explains all the coverage you get. Go to that first and see what it says and then go to the source and get it straightened out. good luck. maurine Cochran wrote: Amy, they should pay for whatever your dr rx'd a month's supply for. Guest guest
That's exactly what they told me and handed me a bill for $274 for the other 8 pills. Forget it, I'll try something from the HFS instead. I've heard about Candex, anyone have success with Threelac? Thanks, , you're always a wealth of information! Guest guest
We get ours as a liquid suspension and it's covered. Is it the med or the dose? Flucanazole is the generic and is on the generic list at Wal Mart and Sam's Club along with other pharmacies and should fall into $4 price line (regardless of insurance) of generics they offer. Do check the dose as I believe it's got to be 150mg dosage. > Sounds like yeast is back, sorry. > > > > Day 10 Diflucan > > > Our DAN will only give Diflucan in a 10 day RX. Guest guest
MY insurance co will only pay for a 14 day supply as well. So when my DAN perscribes diflucan, (fluconazol sp?) he rx's 30 days, but i can only pick up a 14 day supply at a time. (mine is a liquid) I can then go get the other 14 days without having another rx, its just like a refill, only i dont have to pay 2 x's. Good luck AMber > > Sounds like yeast is back, sorry. > > > > > > > > Day 10 Diflucan > > > > > Our DAN will only give Diflucan in a 10 day RX.
