"Raising glutathione and lower testosterone meant a lower susceptibility to toxins and pathogens." I'm not sure those two ideas connect fully. In the rest of the populations with biotoxin-mediated illnesses, women get hit 3 to 1 with no correlation to body type or skin condition. There's one theory that this happens because many of these toxins are lipophilic and females carry a lot more body fat. I'm not supporting it or denying it, but it has a nice simple logic. I got one of my best and most immediate gains using DHEA-s as adrenal support, which raises testosterone (got a blood test showing the increased test level, so no question it happened). But I can't say if that applies here. The info that bacteria are used to produce methylcobolamin is fascinating! I want to know more about this. I had been thinking of MB12 as purely mineral in origin. I have come to think of us each as

walking ecosystems, just as you described, and for the same reasons. in my (admittedly strange) little world, mycotoxins, bacterial endotoxins, and all others add to the total load and can have unexpected consequences. In most people, when you heal the gut, the "gluten" sensistivity goes away. But you're still thinking of grains as though the fungi that grow on them in the field are the main attraction. We usually bake with yeast here - so there's another fungus, though a pretty innocuous one. Then within hours, whether or not yeast was used in the process, those goods can begin to mold because they retain some moisture - yet another source. Some people who are sensitive to these don't eat grain at all, others eat only the very freshest. As I understand it now, only a true celiac has a lifetime problem with gluten, per se. The rest of us have problems with our guts or problems with fungus or both, but we

aren't real celiacs at all. __________________________________________________
