Guest guest
When bananas are looking good I stock up as well. I peel them, then put them in a plastic bag and pop them in the freezer. Then when I make yogurt, kefir or viili smoothies I toss in a frozen banana and frozen blueberries and it turns out like a soft ice cream. It's delicious! Guest guest
The mooshier they are the better. Than you won't need to add any stevia or maple syrup to the smoothie. Remember you are going to put it in the blender and puree it.
Guest guest
Dear Judith, You can peel them and freeze them for fruit smoothies or for use in baking later on. Stick a popsicle stick in one end, dip in melted carob or chocolate and roll in chopped nuts before freezing for a frozen treat. Guest guest
That sounds good, . And I will try it, but many these bananas will have to be cooked or eaten tomorrow or it will be too late. Guest guest
Sounds great. the only bananas I've ever frozen were not brown and smushy like these, so I wasn't sure if they'd freeze okay or not. Thanks much for your help. Judith Alta Kidder -----Original Message----- The mooshier they are the better. Than you won't need to add any stevia or maple syrup to the smoothie.
