Guest guest
I am in such severe pain in my back tonight, it has actually hurt all day and I have had a headache building too that has officially turned into a migrain. All I have for pain pills is some tylenol w/codeine from an operation last year. I took a half of one but it hasn't touched my pain. It hurts to breathe in and out. I hate when it gets this bad nothing helps and come to find out from my PT therapist who I saw last night my regular doctor is very anti drug and that is why she has not prescribed me anything for pain. I am literally sitting her twitching from the muscle spasms in my back. Barbara Graslie
Guest guest
Barbara you need to go to the ER when it gets that bad, they will give you an injection of pain med. and muscle relaxer then a prescription to take home. When you wait for itto get that bad pain med won't help. Guest guest
Exactly what I learned in my many years as an addictions program developer and manager. Barbara S in Ct > > > > Barbara you need to switch to a doctor that is not that anti drugs. It is rediculous to be in that much pain and not have a pain medication. That according to my doctor at the Mayo Clinic is inhumane. I would start shopping until you find a doctor that understands chronic pain. A study recently published states patients with chronic pain do not become addicted . > > Good Luck > > Debbie > > >
Guest guest
I totally agree with you and have read several studies that states the same thing, and its what my Dr tells me. I also feel that way is if I have a really good day I don't even think about pain meds. Debbie ________________________________ Dont snort it or inject it, thats what most addicts do with pills. I've been told by many physicians the same thing, there is a difference between addiction and dependence. If your in pain and dependent on pain meds u don't get a high you get some relief, if there is no pain and using pain meds u r addicted. Take care
