Guest guest
I've been taking 800mg ibuprofen for joint pain for many years now. I'm one of the lucky ones who can take it without effecting my asthma though. I would be in a real pickle if I couldn't as I'm allergic to so many other things and ibuprofen is one of the few meds that give me any relief for my bone disease. I agree ibuprofen and other NSAIDS are terrible for your GI system, but I think in low levels most people never have a problem and tolerate it well. If you can't take NSAIDs and Tylenol does nothing for you, I would talk to the dr about maybe moving up to low dose Vicodin or Tylenol III (if you can take codeine). > > > > What is the effect of Motrin on asthmatics? > >
