Subject: Re: Travel QuestionsTo: asthma Date: Saturday, 27 September, 2008, 5:41 PM Hi Jenn, So if I ever have to fly again, what do I do about the inhalers? If they are in my purse, will I have a problem? (I have no nebulizer.) Thank you, Alana > > I asked about my inhalers at Manchester this year, as they are sprays, which are included in the restricted items list. Apparently the limit does not incliude medication, but I;d maybe take something to prove that you need them... > Â > Jnen ------------------------------------
Guest guest
Cool! Really appreciate it Mike! I've been waiting for many months for my appointment. My drs have wanted me to go for years, but the last month long hospital stay convinced me to cough up the money too! Guest guest
As long as you dont have more than 3 oz containers, which the vials are not, and you have a prescription label on the box you should be fine. Put your meds at the top of your carry on so that its easier to see in the x-ray machine. If they have a question, they will open the bag and look. I got tagged b/c of all the AA batteries I had in my bag...they just looked and verified that what they saw was indeed batteries and wall chargers. I had both my inhalers, a nasal spray, and several bottles of meds for me and the cats..and nobody had issues. Find phone numbers fast with the New AOL Yellow Pages! Guest guest
Thank you, Jenn. I assume a purse would be considered hand luggage? Guest guest
Thank you. I think I'm getting it now - inhalers in my purse, and be sure to take the boxes with me. Thanks, again, Alana > > As long as you dont have more than 3 oz containers, which the vials are not, and you have a prescription label on the box you should be fine.?
