Hi Jayson,

I am so sorry to read what is happening for you. It sucks! I had a

great university professor who was retiring. He said he would

postpone his retirement or even come back out of retirement for a

person who wanted to do a doctoratal study on the power of prayer.

He quoted a couple of studies that had been done whereby people had

prayed for people that they didn't even know - sometimes whole

continents away. The people doing the praying didn't necessarily

have to believe in any religion, nor did the person for whom the

prayers had been made. Anyway, the survival rate was much much

higher for cancer patients linked to prayers. He found it

fascinating - and so do I, and if I didn't get psoriatic arthritis,

I may have done my doctorate.

I am not a religious man, but in the spirit of a doctorate I would

have liked to have done, I will say a prayer for you tonight and

tomorrow and everyday for a long, long time. I encourage others

here to do the same. Keep writing to tell us how you are. Bye

Jayson ... Brent

Hi Jayson,

sorry you have so much to go through. I wonder if there is a good

DMARD other than mtx that would help the p,pa, and ms? imuran? just a

question...I don't know.

my friend takes a DMARD for her ms and is starting soriatane for the

p...don't know if she has the pa covered with these or not.

I went several years with a lesion on my face and it's no fun..

hope they numb you up and/or sedate you for the lumbar

puncture..that definitely does not sound fun..

hang in and try to stay as positive as you can.

best wishes,

marti

continue of blood droplets . Really has me worried because of the cancer and

not sure as to how big the tumor is yet. Any prayers are welcomed here please.

Zoella,

You have my prayers. Everyone in this group

understands being sick and tired of fighting our illnesses. It's so wearing

on our bodies physically, not to mention psychologically. This is a

struggle for all of us. Don't discount your illnesses. None of them is

small. That's what we are here for. To listen, share, understand ,

empathize with one another. I even count my blessings when I feel my daily

battles aren't as extreme as others on this board. This disease is like

that. We all rejoice when we find relief in treatment.

I wish you the best. I am so thankful for this group. It's the best!

Rhonda,

Was so sweet of you to take your time to send such a sweet email to me as

you did. I am so thankful that one can vent and yet no one turns their heads

and just say , well, that is their problem to deal with. I know each and

everyone here has touched my heart and I wish we could all have one big group

hug.

As for you and I we might be just a hop, skip and stone throw from each

other. I am in Oklahoma in the far north east part. Close to Joplin,MO. in

fact. Neat huh?

I have lived this way since 5 years old and I know no other way to live.

Yes, if there was a magic pill that removed all this pain I really do not

believe it would change me cause I have not know no pain . One time I went to a

theripist because of depression. She asked me how I would feel if one day I was

granted to never feel the pain and had a normal life. First my mind went wild

like getting to be able to hold a baby or to wear shorts so i could feel the

wind blow over my legs for once. Then it hit me , I can not ever be well and

happy if my friends in the groups i am in are not there sharing their new found

health. So I know we are all in here together for each other. In all things

give thanks--- hard to do? Well I do not think so because if I had not had this

illnesses I would not be able to feel all this compasion and love for others in

same way or a different illness. Blessings, Zoella

Hi Jayson,

I'm sorry to hear that things are not going well for you just now. I hope you

have at least got the lumber puncture out of the way by now and that it

wasn't too painful.

I hope you get some good news soon. You know that we are all here for you

anyway Jayson. Keep in touch if you feel up to it and let us know how things are

going for you.

Good luck,
