Guest guest
Wondering if anyone has had success giving B12 shots in the morning while awake the morning of the day of the shot rather than fighting while they are sleep? My son has started fighting them and placement is an issue when he is fighting while he is 1/2 asleep. Thanks, Jalene
Guest guest
I don't know how old your child is-but if it's an oldeer child that understands something about it--it's easier just to get them used to it. If done right and a good needle-they do not hurt and you can do them anytime when child is awake. good luck Maurinejalenesuda wrote: Wondering if anyone has had success giving B12 shots in the morning while awake the morning of the day of the shot rather than fighting while they are sleep? Guest guest
Hi group. I started out giving them in the early eavening well before bedtime. I give her a bowl of grapes and lean her over my lap while my husband is on stand by to controll any sudden movements, so far so good, she only seemed to feel a little pinch, no sudden movements. The last shot however, I waited until she was asleep. Big mistake, she woke up and didn't go back to sleep until after 3am. They realy don't hurt, I tried it in myself before I have them to her she is 4 years old. Unless he is hypersensitive (it may be painfull), it might be best if he knows that the pinch is comming. His being afraid will cause those behaviors we are all looking to avoid.
