Guest guest
I dont know specifically about the kidneys but it doesn't sound good perhaps ask your dr about it. The only thing I know I have been told is that FM affects or can affect all of the bodys systems like respiratory, nervous system and presumably (sorry dont know what one it is) the kidneys are part of a system?? So if can affect your body's systems then I guess it could in turn affect your kidneys However the other thing I was told when these sorts of things come up is to not just assume (and I know you are not) that its just the FM because it could be from something else Does that make sense? The term used to describe it was multi system multi function disorder. Does this help at all ----- Original Message ----- From: deb Thanks everyone for your input. I yhink i'm going to give the cymbalta a try. I'm feeling quite off at the moment. Does anyone know if fibro has any effect on the kidneys? I ended up with cystitis a few months ago and took a course of antibiotics which seemed to clear it up. Ever since though i've had bad pain in my left kidney and terrible stomach aches...then in the last few days its felt like another bout of cystitis is coming and i've noticed my pee is tinged pink, like there's blood in my urine. Does anyone know if FM has an effect on the kidneys?
