A prior test came a little high in some area so they wanted to do another test in the am before eating. The nurse called to tell me that the test they had redone shows something about bone - bone in the blood or some darn thing. Next week on Thursday, I go in for a bone scan. The test doesn't sound like it's too bad. The reason for it is a little confusing, but it didn't sound too serious. She said this could be showing up due to a fracture. I'm trying to keep positive thoughts. I just didn't need to hear something like this right now. I am still hurting from the accident last Thursday. I did go and see my chiro. Guest guest Posted February 12, 2003 Report Share Posted February 12, 2003 linda, sorry to hear about your pain. i had a bone scan. the medicine felt wierd going through my body, but did not hurt. i could feel it going over each tooth. it's been awhile, but they injected me and i went home for a couple hours. the worst part was trying to lay still for the scan. good luck and i hope they find the culprit. where do they think the fracture is? kathy in il Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I hope your chiropractor knows all about RA and how the neck can be affected and how delicate it can be. Did anyone do an x-ray or MRI of your neck since the accident? I'm glad he is knowledgeable, took the x-rays, and that he helps you. I hope you see some big time improvement soon. Let us know what the bone scan shows. Guest guest Posted February 2, 2004 Report Share Posted February 2, 2004 hey cindy, hold that snow as long as possible. my parents flight leaves for florida at 1pm today and i work til 2. so i'd like to get home before it gets nasty. i was bad and stayed out until 1am!!! of coarse on saturday i was in bed sleeping at 6pm!! slept for 12 1/'2 hrs. last night maybe 3 1/2 hrs. i am going to be very tired today!!!
