Guest guest
Yes Shyam, I used to open your mails with anticipation. But now I open them with trepidation. Will Shyam wire us, or will Shyam Virus, that is the question. Will Shyam show photos exposed in his camera, or will his Fotos expose us to the infection? This is the first time in history that Shyam has sent less mails than his virus. Buck up, Shyam. You need to show the virus who is boss. Send more mails than the virus. Well everybody, just like everyone else infected with a virus, what Shyam needs is a lot of love and understanding, and a fond hope that his virus incites an automatic immunity. Shyam has already taken anti-viral drugs and I hope he recovers soon. All the best Shyam. Guest guest
Thanx,Kishoreda..for ur kind words. Probably,hope..that with all the love, the virus should exit from my emailbox soon..and Hopefully,I should be back to emailing, more often. However,I am not sure,if all others think the same..for they may feel,it is better my virus laden email, lands more often out here.. Atleast, they can INSTANTLY hit the DELETE button, without having to read and reply to my emails!!!(ha ha ha) OK...continuing..with my quota of Emailing.. Here's one to begin the day.. The other day,I met a " Rare Human " ,at a Bday party of one of our close friend.(no folks,I am not into the post " Avataar " movie, mode) Although,I had known him, since quite sometime...but it was his candid disclosure....which needs to be told..out here.. " Rare " ,bcos..he said, he had only one functioning Email office Account,in this present era!! Did not bother to write to his friends or relatives.!. Prefered to call up..if need be..and catch up.. Felt, that since he had grown mentally and physically from his college life days,he found those nostalgic tales, very boring. Never had the desire to register on other social networking sites..like the FB/Tweeter etc..nor had the desire to contact any of his (ex-heartthrobs) or male friends..of his school or college days. ..and believed living in present and if not working..either watching TV/Read a book or simply stare vacantly in space!! Something that got me,too thinking (Thou the thoughts are echoed my dear biwi..)...that we are indeed addicted to today's technology. The more we say,it has made our lives easier, the more we have become slaves of it. Gone seems those days, when we would read a novel/comic..and subscribe to the circulating libraries. (The Newpapers of the world, have started to shut down their offices..and now maybe, bring out only subscribed version of the e-newspapers to sustain themselves) Gone are those days, when we would simply close our eyes,to relax or gaze aimlessly..to break off from work. Gone are those days, when texting, tweeting was unheard off...and people would spend time..cultivating their hobbies, than they do now,by enrolling in social places..like Farmville..or their likes.. I have finally joined the FB bandwagon after many of my school friends made me register..and I am simply amazed to see the volume of hourly texting, they all have, from stranded motorways in Berlin,to USA.and even from stranded planes in Snow struck Seoul's air strips... Simply amazing...!! No wonder, even RD,in June 2008,..last yr,realised that internet has become a global pandemic....and came up with a nice article titled.. " Get a Grip " (of your life)!!,which I feel, is a must read article, for everyone....today. Seema seems to never tire..these days..telling me... " See!,I told u so!!!. " .. And I got to admit, She is (always) right.. Shyam(84) To: mgims From: ravindas@...
