Dear All

I have another good news to be shared with all. ............I have been

recommended by my Assessor for AABB Francis for the New assessor training to be

held in New Orleans in October....................... My expense will be paid

for the training by AABB.............................( yes shyam sir Zafar seems

to be lucky for me) 

I have to plan for the tickets, the stay in New Orleans. Can anyone please let

me know any options? Anyone in New Orleans from the Alumni..............

planning for a family trip so can some one help me...............any must see

places.................etc...............the training is from 23rd October-29th

October........rest would like to spend my holidays...................goofing

around

Sorry for the delay on my part in congratulating U.,as I had not opened those

emails,assuming from the title,it was all about the dress code,doing rounds

still....and today,when I read about the ABB accreditation, I decided to join

all others,in Congratulating U..,on 2 Good news..in such quick succession..

In olden times,the inlaws would say.

Bahu ke per, ghar mein padte hi...,khushiyaan cha gaayee..

But,looks like..I am tempted to say..after this Good news..

Zafar ke aate..hi..aapke sitare bhi chamak gaye.!!.

Now,Seema is all keen..to hear the USUAL GOODNEWS,..that. .an Obstetrician, ..is

so used to telling her new couples....! !

On an ending note,read ur email..on the great time,U r having..in the new

household and the various token of love,showered by ur hubby..

I think,Aasawari, u should have ..been a bit more discreet..and send this

email..only in the Men's emailbox..,because. .it looks like,u have created a

Ripple of Sorts..by describing.. HOW NICE,UR MIYA IS..and How Adjusting he

is.!!!..only to be told now..by the women out here to their hubbies(which

includes my dear biwi..as well)..

To,DDM,

Yeah,that was the survival guide..I chose to read first,..in addition to many

Self-Help books..on How to make a GOOD MARRIAGE,last forever..etc etc..

Actually,u r absolutely right,for remarking that..I must have read them more in

detail,than my textbooks.

That was because,Sirjee. .my new set of PG teachers,during our tenure as

students,..never let me read those textbooks in peace,..as they themselves..

were not clear about, What was Ophthalmology? ?..and kept borrowing the books

from our department library.!!

..

Thankfully,I managed to get hold of many nicer books by more experienced

teachers,on the way..,...who taught me..and made me,what I am today.

To,Ravin,

Aapka..bahut hi pyaara jawaab padke..I think,U also..have stirred the

same..feelings. .from the ladies group..out here..against their hubbies..

Kitna pyaar karta hain..apne patni ko.to like whatever she wears..

MET dR aSHISH AND FAMILY IN dELHI

Hi Guys/Girls,

Anil and me went specially to delhi to meet Dr Ashish Sachdeva, his wife Namita,

daughter Nikita and twins Aayush and Akshay and his father.

We did not know each other in the beginning.

We are just MGIMS alumnii members

Still he agreed to help my son Nik with hospital rotations.

So we planned to meet him in delhi on the 3rd of august.

Now how to recognise him at the restaurant?? ?

Anil saw one tall, fair guy in shorts and just asked him, are u Ashish?

And he was!

He has a very fun loving family.

He himself is very humurous.

Hes a noble doctor, a good father, a loving husband , a doting son and a down to

earth person. All the good values which the MGIMs taught us in our beginning

orientation days

I could not place him, being 3yrs junior to me, but he remembered all my batch

mates... Manish, Kishore, Parag, Paresh, even Ballani and Raju Shah

Again e- MGIMS has created history !

I am 1980 batch, he is 1983 batch.

I stay in Mumbai and hes from Arizona.

and we met with family in Delhi on august 2009!
