Guest guest
Hello everyone. Just wanted to say hello. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Been busy with Amber's Grandfather being in the hospital. He pasted on Monday no more suffering from Cancer and he was in so much pain. Amber has been very sick. Monday the same time Grandpa pasted I was with her in ER with a 105 and higher fever. The Flu poor kid. Anyways one of the other things that has been going on with her and I know that some of you lady have this also so I was wondering what I should do to help her out. At night after I would say around 20 or so minutes she wakes up with her heart racing it really scary to her. The goiter has started to harden now. We did get another opinion on her care. And we were told she is getting the right dose of Thyroid and she will have to watched every 3 months instead of 6 by this new doctor. I did like him but he to also only goes by the TSH levels and Amber is doing fine now. She has the skin pigmentation from the Hastimoto's also. She will be admitted into the hospital to have the test done on 's to make sure that she does not have this disease also. We were told that we have to remember she has Autoimmune disease and at any time in her life they could attack any other part of her body. And there no cure to stop that from happening at this time. Very disappointing to us as her parents to hear that they can't do anything at this time to help. Steve and I are thinking positive she will be having the first surgery on her right foot December 14th. All is going very well for that and were hoping that the implant will work and her immune cells do not reject it. She is back at school today and Feeling much better. Oh and I wanted to know Amber has her period 45 days apart is that normal for Hashimoto's also or is it just her. Thanks again for the advice and support.
