Thanks BJ. I am supposed to see the hematologist/oncologist before the end of the week! I will update when I can.

Hi Steph,Your FT4 is only 30% in range so you have lots of room to increase. TSH is probably too high, most Hashis feel best with a much lower TSH. It appears that the old obsolete T3 aka Total T3 test was run. It calculates all thyroid hormone both bound and unbound, but the body can only use the unbound T3 hormone. A Free T3 will show the unbound hormone levels. If you take birth control or any other hormones or certain other things this test is inaccurate. That said, your result is 37% and the FREE T3 will always be much lower, so you can pretty much count that you have low normal or below range FT3. (My FT3 has always been lower by 40% than my T3 when tested at the same time; yours may or may not be.) Unless, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium levels are ran the vitamin D is of little value. There is a ratio that must be maintained for good health and to prevent bone loss. Without testing all you don't get the total picture, similar to only testing and treating by TSH. I've read many the horror stories of women only be tested for vit-D and given huge amounts only to have brittle bones. All these substances need to be kept in balance. Read the article Carol posted a few days ago. My doc has shown me over the last few years what to look at on a lab sheet, plus I've read a lot too. Since you only provided a part of the puzzle I won't be able to comment any further. When do you see the Hematologist and Oncologist? Good luck! I'll keep you in my prayers.Wishing you the best,~Bj>> So my fam doc did some more blood work on me last week. Here are the results {I am still waiting for my thyroid med from Erfa to get here}. Any day now I hope. > > Anyways here we go... { I am only posting the labs of the things that I have questions on or are low/borderline/concerning}. Any help in figuring this out would be good. Thanks! I will see the hematologist/oncologist soon and go over the WBC and RBC and lymphocytes issue, and I am very nervous about that. Will update more when that happens! Thanks. > > Free T4 1.1 {.8-1.8}> T3 116 {76-184}> Vitamin D 36 {20-100} * Is this good? > TSH 2.34 {.3-4.82}> WBC count 3.8 {4.8-10.8}> RBC count 4.5 {4.5-6.1}> Absolute lymphocytes 1.1 {1.2-3.4}> Absolute basophils 0.0 {0.0-0.2} > glucose 85 {70-110}> albumin/globulin ratio 1.5 {1.9-3.7}> > Anyways, I don't even know what some of these are. But if anyone has any helpful info that would be great! Still waiting for my appt with the oncologist and meds from Erfa... feeling lousy today, depressed... > > Steph>
