Guest guest
I know that I don't post very often...so, first things first...I want to thank all of you who do post on a regular basis. It helps to know that there are people out there who are willing to share their experiences My little guy is suspected of having A.S. Since we were told this, almost two years ago, I have had difficulties in getting a true daignosis...and of course, without that it's nearly impossible to get any kind of therapies (or financial assistance). He's 4 now...and although he doesn't communicate with the English language, he's definitely able to get his point across...even if it consists of pulling me to the counter and having me pick him up to get what he wants We don't have insurance (and I don't really like doctors)...and I don't have a desire to change my son...I love him to death, just as he is...so, it boils down to the subject: Is a diagnosis and therapy really necessary? Also, I don't feel the need to mainstream him into society...I always knew that any child of mine would be " different " ...why does he have to have a label? Anyhoo...I'm drifting Will close for now, and thanx in advance
